Did my taxes here last year in the beginning of COVID, they were quick, simple, prompt, and professional. Parking was a little cramped but they have since moved into a bigger facility so Parking issues have been mitigated. I went in to review my taxes and see what this tax season looked like. After going over everything, the gentleman I worked with stated, "How's it look? Are those numbers okay? Are you happy with that?" Those comments lead me to believe that something wasn't right as I politely declined any further services at that time. Fast forward to a couple days later, I tried going to H&R block and reviewed my taxes. I wanted to see if there is a total difference between the turbo tax app, going to a generic tax company like H&R and hiring a business like ETBD. After reviewing my taxes with H&R and going over my experiences with ETBD, the lady at H&R stated, "This is your tax refund and I don't know how they're doing this". It seems that, even though there are slight discrepancies between the app and H&R, it's not drastic, leading me away from ETBD. I'm not inferring that Taxes By David is engaging in "X,Y and Z," but my review reflects an object experience with this company. I'm just putting this out there. read more

Taxes By David is just amazing!! My husband and I showed up as walk-ins (no appointment) on a Saturday afternoon. We were greeted immediately and given a simple one page of information to fill out. My husband had barely finished when we were called back by Melissa. Melissa was knowledgeable, friendly, and very helpful. This was my first year with a 1099 and she helped answer any questions I had. She also made sure to ask questions and provide us with a list of items that are deductible to ensure we got our maximum refund. We even talked over some tax tips for the 2018 year. She will definitely be our go to tax preparer from here on out :-) As you can see Taxes By David has many great reviews. These are not flukes. Came in as a walk in and no issues or long wait. Taxes By David the original has always been good and really works with you to maximize your tax refund and watch out for you. The only knock is with the receptionists. They all seem a little lost and after I called back to ask a question seem a little rude! After a thank you by me I got a "you bet".
