I am a nursing mom with a baby -- driving back to Boston that day was really not an option for me. I nearly begged the receptionist on the phone if she could possibly squeeze me in for a 15 min appointment so the dentist could just cement my crown back in temporarily -- to prevent any damage to my actual tooth, so it would last for a couple of days until we drove back. While she was polite on the phone -- she expressed zero sympathy, compassion or empathy and it was clear that she couldn't care less about me or my emergency situation. When I got to Boston I texted a new dentist recommended by a friend (it so happened that my dentist had retired two weeks prior to this). The treatment that his office and his receptionist showed me (calling me over the weekend to make sure I was okay and then squeezing me in to be seen the next morning) -- was in stark contrast with this office.
