The Dixie Land Band Brunch on Sunday was absolutely Incredible, Great Buffet Food, Free Mimosa and incredible Music. We were so wowed with the experience, listened to some of the most beautiful talented musicians. We have decided to make this an Annual Event, except next time we will make it a Full weekend and will be taking a couple of friends along. This is one of those Festivals that you will be Wowed even if you are not that into Jazz.

We have been down on old falls street for music before but they actually had it going on this…read moreweekend. They had a main stage for the bigger named bands but also a smaller stage under a tent. Speaking of tents the also had a tent with tables and chairs. Any place you were you had a great place for listening. They also sold beer and wine. Also pop and water if you were the designated driver. Farther down on old falls street there were restaurants and food trucks. So if you spent many hours just listening you didn't go hungry. The one band we listened to the woman's voice was unbelievable. It was just a great time sitting and relaxing, people watching. Oh and listening to music. Weather was also perfect for the whole weekend.

This jazz festival gets better and better year after year. This is our fifth or sixth time going…read moreand everything went smoothly. Plenty of security and police, food, vendors and retail booths abounded. But most importantly, the music was excellent. They had two large stages, about 300 yards apart on Center Street and a smaller stage on the side of the street equi-distant between them. The spacing worked well as you couldn't hear the music from any other stage interfering with the performance you were attending. The performances year after year get better and better. This year we actually purchased tickets so we could sit right in front of the main stage in comfort which was very enjoyable. In prior years, we listened to the music from the sidelines, which was also fine. The village of Lewiston has many restaurants, coffee shops, and nooks and crannies to explore. We look forward to this every year.

Was invited by my sister to Canal Fest and I'm glad I decided to go. This was my first time ever…read more It was really fun we all had a good time. They had rides for all ages, games, food, snacks, and live music. It literally was something for everyone to do. Only issues I had was there were not enough sitting areas for people to sit and enjoy the food and like 90% of all the vendors only accepted cash which I normally don't carry around with me. Thank God I did that day. Also parking can be an issue if there is a huge crowd. Overall really nice festival to attend every year.

However it's actually the flagship fair & carnival of the Tonawandas, and it really really rocks. I came here many times, in fact I performed here once or twice thanks to a friend, and it was always a great time, in the summer, by the Erie Canal in the Tonawandas, with good food, excited people, interesting music (unless I was playing in which case it was crap), and lots and lots and lots of very good looking people. If you live in WNY or are visiting at the right time of year, and you've never been to Canalfest, you should come down. There are a thousand reasons to have a great time here and only one reason not to, which was me performing live music here, which no longer is a problem. At some point it'll be purchased by a conglomerate and watered down, at which point it'll become Clearchannelfest. You don't want that to happen, so get here and enjoy it before it does.

There are only a few stalls outside the entrance that sells Peach. Nothing I could not get from a local farmer's market! And the other peach thing is probably their $5 Peach Sundaes which I could made at home! There are no admission fee. Maybe I should not be complaining? Worth coming if you are in the area. There are no on site parking. The official free parking is at Puddicombe Farms but you need to get a shuttle which is $5 per person return to get to the Park!!! Though the charge is towards charity. There are also numerous food outlets that are run by local charities, you expect to find so so food but all for a good cause!

This annual fall fair is fun for the entire family! We took the toddlers today (ages 1 & 2) and…read morestayed for 2.5 hours. There were live animals (a petting zoo with horses, cows, chickens, goats, etc.), bunny hop show, k9 unit show, horse and carriage and horse riding competitions, local vendors and food trucks, tractor pulling contests, midway rides and games. While my toddler was too short to go on the rides, she did enjoy climbing and sitting in the stationary tractors. Some events (tractor pull) were quite loud and kicked up a lot of dust and black smoke. There was a small stage with live performers (we caught a performance where they played kids songs). There was a butter tart contest too, but we'd left before it started. Th ere were portable bathrooms all around and one regular bathroom with flushable toilets in the food area. Our entire family thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would definitely be back again next year. Tip: Park for free at the school across the street or just on the street. Admission is $10 for adults, free for kids under 5.

There is no admission charge on weekdays, which is when we were there. Some of the things to participate in are open only on weekends, when there is an admission charge. There is some food and refreshments available but we didn't try anything, as we were going to dinner afterwards. It was a fine afternoon to walk around their displays for Halloween and their very large selection of pumpkins.
