I wish there was a zero rating, 1 is too good. They're incompetent, rude, even lied about services…read morethey don't provide.

I called this firm looking for some guidance for a tax situation my Grandpa needs help with. It's a…read moresituation I personally don't have experience with, so to me it is a "complicated tax situation" the rep who answered the phone today at 11 am on 3/23/2021 assumed that their services where to expensive for me and referred me to WalpoleCPA because they'd be less expensive. I told her assuming I couldn't afford $2500 to file my taxes rubbed me the wrong way because I am obviously looking to hire and pay someone for their expertise and services! She replied with they deal with more complicated tax situations like someone with multiple businesses and/or corporations..... Sorry my situation isn't really "complicated" yet she has no idea what a "offer in compromise" form/process was. Being the receptionist she should just do her job, take a message and refer potential clients to the professionals and let them decide if it is or isn't something they can take on before referring business to another firm. By the way I do own multiple businesses and I would have been happy to bring my business over to your firm but she rather refer business elsewhere. I ended going with a the "Law office of Rafael M. Amezaga Jr" at 805-569-2825 they actually were more than happy to help me out with our situation.
