My fingers were like sausages. I had almost no feeling in my hand. Sleep without narcotics was impossible. All the oncology folks could offer was a compression sleeve and literature that basically said "be glad you are alive and suck it up." I've had several acupuncture treatments now and started using an herbal formulation. After the last treatment,my pain was reduced dramatically, but the herbs have been incredible.
