I had to wait a bit in the waiting room, both times, the second time it was quite busy, it surprised me due to the covid-19 recommendations. They took X-rays, no booties were provided. I am giving two stars because he did recommend I have my vitamin D levels checked and gave me a thorough exam the first visit. He confirmed a stress fracture in my left foot, and although I had pain in my right, he did not X-ray it. I had a cam boot from the first doctor, he didn't replace it, I found out they wear out and it was ill fitted. When I called to complain it hurt, they offered pain med script, when I asked for a new boot, they told me I needed to call my insurance first. The reason for this review is due to the treatment of the second visit. Two weeks later, he X-rayed it again, and not much had changed. He proceeded to tell me I needed to stay off my foot so it would heal, told me I should get help to take care of my kids. I pretty much felt like crap after I left his office. I don't have a large support group around me and it is pretty hard during a pandemic when you don't want to expose others or your two kids under 3. I decided to find a different Doctor to complete my healing journey and I am glad I did. Turned out, a new, proper fitted cam boot is amazing, it takes 12 weeks for stress fractures to heal on average, there was evidence of stress fracture in my right, and no-one has the right to lecture me when it turns out I was doing everything the best I could.

Dr. Kotsopulos relieved my heel pain right away and I feel great now. He was very gentle, efficient and professional. I got a referral from my primary to see Dr. Rossi at Mokena foot and ankle without knowing a single thing about him. I called the office a week ahead of time and was able to get an appointment on the following Saturday. I arrived 15 minutes prior to my appointment to fill out paperwork and ended up seeing Dr. Rossi 30 minutes past my appointment time. He apologized for the long wait when he finally walked in to see me. That was refreshing because most doctors don't even bother to say anything. I guess they figure long waits are expected and acceptable. Dr. Rossi was upbeat and affable. I found him attractive with a warm and inviting smile. I liked him immediately. He took his time during the exam to explain everything throughly which was awesome. He explained why I'd come to have trouble with my foot and the treatment options available. He took the time to ask how I felt about the options he'd presented and offered his medical opinion based on my responses. By the end of the visit we'd discussed a course of action and what I could expect during a follow-up visit. He offered advice on new shoe options and exercise tips. The office has a warm feel to it. It's modern and nicely decorated. It was easy to find and offers ample parking. I was able to make a Saturday appointment which is rare for a specialist but unfortunately the receptionist stated that there would be no more weekend hours available in the near future.

I never imagined foot surgery would be a pleasant experience. From the day of the initial consultation to the surgeries and post-op visits, I was treated both courteously and professionally by everyone (including the doctor's assistants and the ladies who work at the front desk). Before the surgeries, Dr. Narcissi explained what I could expect during and after the procedures. Dr. Narcissi took the time to thoroughly answer each of my 16 questions (SERIOUSLY, all 16). They have a small waiting room, maybe 10 chairs, with 2 empty seats. The lady I sat next to was complaining about the wait as I was sitting down. As time went by, and people were going in and out, I noticed that people were being called back that came after me. Now, I'm reasonable and I know that there are other services being provided. However, a lady came in and sat right next to me. We chatted for about 30 minutes about different things. She told me that she was there to see Dr. Kendall. At about 11:15, someone came out and called her. At this point, I've been there for nearly 90 minutes! And why is this lady being called before me? So, I get up and I wait behind a lady checking in. Someone walks up and nicely asked if I was checking in. I said I want to make sure you all did not forget about me and her response was that there were only 2 doctors there. This has nothing to do with why people who walked in after me are being called back before me. So, I sat down, made an appt for 11:45 at an Orthopedic doctor down the street. I walked out, made it to my appointment at 11:40 and was almost immediately whisked away for an x-ray. I saw a doctor and was out of there within 45 minutes. So, I wasted a $55 copay at an office that did not provide me any services. I don't know if existing patients have priority over new patients at this office, but this should have been explained when I made the appointment. The lady I chatted with says Dr Kendall is a great doctor. Give him a try if you've got all day to wait.​​

Before taking off my shoes, he ruled out gout. I had two ingrown "Big" toe nails which were causing me a great deal of pain with walking, standing, climbing stairs, etc. I had stopped playing sports due to the discomfort. He thoroughly explained what he recommended. He did a block on both toes which was not uncomfortable at all. He was gentle, personable and professional throughout my office visit. He billed my insurance, gave me written instructions for post procedure care and scheduled a follow up visit two weeks later. I have to give this doc his props. I work in healthcare so I know excellent care when I see or receive it. Run, don't walk, to Dr. Fenlon's office for any foot problems that might ail you. You won't be disappointed. Thank you.
