I had a giant herniated disk with severe central canal stenosis along with complete effacement of the Cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) around the nerve roots. Redundant nerve roots (RNRs) and the beginnings of Cauda Equina Syndrome and Arachnoiditis. I had terrifying pain in the hip, buttocks, groin and leg. Sound Complicated? That is because it was and the risk of surgery was high. Dr. Lim took on my case and performed an extremely successful Posterior Spinal Fusion with Transforaminal lumbar interbody fusion (TLIF) using a Titanium artificial disk also known as a Intervertebral Cage and a facetectomy on L2/L3 with a very Complex Decompression of Cauda Equina and Bilateral L1/L2 nerve roots and Hip Bone Marrow Aspiration with an Allograft Bone Graft plus 2 Bilateral foraminotomies along with an annulotomy. This was all done using a 3D computer-assisted stereotactic navigation system. I mention all this to demonstrate why even world-renowned Neuro Surgeons declined to take my case. Right after surgery 100 percent of my pre-surgical pain in the hip, buttocks, groin and leg was gone. At 3 months out I was walking 3 miles and at 4 months I was hiking in the forest on hilly and challenging terrain and had a zero-pain score. Also, his P.A. He left pieces inside of me and closed me up. Those pieces dug into my sciatic nerve for 7 1/2 weeks causing the most excruciating pain I have ever had in my life. He ran out of the surgery and jumped in his car so I couldn't ask him why I was in more pain when I woke up than when I went in. Then he wouldn't take any calls from me. Then when I was able to go to his office, he wouldn't come out of the back to talk to me. The front desk said they were told to tell me he was in meetings and was not going to see me. It took the CEO of Midwest Orthopedics to force him to meet with me. The arrogant, pompous ass that he is kept saying nothing was wrong even after new MRI's showed the debris and me screaming in pain. The surgeon from Rush who corrected the botched surgery took photos that he gave to me of what he had to remove that was digging into my sciatic nerve. He said he normally wouldn't do that but that I needed to save these for the attorneys. In all my life I have never met a worse doctor / surgeon. It's bad enough to ruin somebody's back but then to be so arrogant to never admit the mistake and get it fixed. Anybody who would let him cut into you would have to be insane. Find ANYBODY else!

Starting "I've never seen that before", he took me back to the operating room to repair the failed joint. After the second surgery, he gave me a small portion of the implant and said, "I'm not sure what happened or how to fix it but I removed a portion of it". I then went to another podiatrist who successfully removed the implant and replaced it with a new one. I understad any surgeon can have postoperative complications, but not being able to fix an isssue they create is clearly problematic. Also, beware of "Reputation Defender" software, they can make anyone look good.

Specifically, he charged me for just picking up the customized soles. When asked about it, his office stated that he charged me for "showing me how to use the soles". Additionally, the secretary (Elaine) was very unprofessional when answering any question regarding picking up my health records. I have reported this office to my insurance and to the Illinois Attorney General's office for fraudulent activity.

His guidance and advisement so I could make a decision on future knee surgery ( which was inevitable) was on point. Meanwhile, being fitted for a brace and receiving shots to ease the pain and make me comfortable to carry on everyday tasks worked. Then the decision was mine to tell Dr.Nickless that I was ready for surgery. He suggested Dr. Nam (great choice) and I followed my pre and post surgery and physical therapy instructions to the letter and the outcome was successful. I am able to carry on like I never had surgery. Dr. Nickless and Dr. Nam are remarkable doctors. And I thank them both for my recovery!

I showed up and they said not to worry they would get me into it because they had no idea why it was cancelled. I left an hour later because they still didn't get me into the appointment. Before I left they assured me they would refund the co-pay they charged me. They didn't do that of course. I went to the Chicago Rush for my appointment but had to drop off my imaging CD at Munster. They told me it would take 10-15 minutes and left 45 minutes later. Morons work the front desk and that says something about the office! If you can get past them it might be good but they could care less at the front desk! The worst part is I had to listen to their stupid nonsense stories while they sat around doing nothing for something that my 10 year old can do in 5 minutes.

I had an ACL reconstruction back then from a basketball injury(2011), and (since I'm highly active) I've re-torn my ACL recently again, twice- July 2019, Jan 2020(was doing something i shouldn't have been). Each time I've had to have surgery, I've had the MRI and surgery within 2 weeks of finding out that it was re-torn along with different options including surgical and non surgical. I've opted for surgery each time since I personally am highly active. The facility itself is well built, very clean, and well maintained. The staff is great, very friendly-from the ladies(Sara) at the front desk all the way to the nurses in back! If i ever have an issue i can call and get in the office quickly to get things straightened out. Dr. Chaudri is great! He's down to Earth, has excellent bedside manner, extremely knowledgeable, and tells you exactly what's wrong and gets straight to the point. He answers all questions you ask(if you ask any since he already explains things.) On a occasion or two I've also have had Dr Durudogan read me results etc. he was also very well mannered, very knowledgeable, and has good bedside manner as well.
