I was a part of the 40 women over 40 project. This was my very first solo photography session, and I expected to feel nervous - but Nick made it so easy. He came across as a spiritual being with such a calming presence that immediately puts you at ease from the very first phone conversation all the way to the photo session. He was extremely responsive to text and email and was actively involved in giving feedback on any and all questions or concerns I had. What I really appreciated was how he connected with me by sharing stories of his own, which made it feel more like a true collaboration and not just a photoshoot. The film photography gave everything a timeless authentic feel and I walked away feeling seen, empowered and celebrated. If you're considering a photoshoot, no matter the reason, I can't recommend Nick enough! read more

Thank you so so much Nick for my beautiful photos. I stare at my pictures every day and I can't even believe I'm looking at myself I was honestly a little nervous going into this shoot since I'd never worked with a professional photographer before, and I wasn't sure I could pull off my vision. Nick was amazing for two big reasons: 1) he's incredibly knowledgeable - he found all my good angles after knowing me for maybe 20 minutes; and 2) he's genuinely so personable and easy to work with. I had the time of my life. We laughed a ton, he valued my input, and he let me take creative liberty with the shots. But he also stepped in with techniques and poses when I got stuck. It was such a comfortable, encouraging experience. Nick, thank you for being patient and kind, for pulling the confidence out of me and onto the film, and for sharing your expertise to create something that feels so honest and so me. I can't wait to work with you again. If you're reading this considering whether to book the dang photoshoot or not, do yourself a favor and DO IT!!! Whether you want a super informative, fun modeling session (which I did) or just want beautiful pictures where you're seen exactly how you want to be - go to Nick!!!
