A friend was telling me about a retreat she was going on to Morocco and I was so intrigued. Of…read morecourse, as soon as I saw that they also went to South Africa and had wild animals roaming in their backyard I was sold on that retreat instead. Everything was easy peasy as far as booking the trip and talking through the details with them. They are very charismatic and I felt so welcomed into their home. I arrived a few days before the rest of the girls and was lucky enough to join them on a gin tasting. If you get the chance to do that definitely join them. I didn't even think I liked gin, But I do!!! When the rest of the girls arrived it was so lively and we all got on so well. The wild game drives with Kerry- the best guide at kruger pride safaris, the amazing animal sightings, delicious food- Christina had a local chef come and cook for us, and wonderful company all made this a very special trip! It sounds like we did a lot because we did but there was also a good amount of downtime to just relax on the back porch, read, enjoy a glass of wine and watch the beautiful beasts of South Africa grazing in the backyard.
