I purchased (2) frog mugs from Lake Home Living for $66. They were gifts for my twin daughters, and arrived several days later. The mugs looked cute in the pictures, but the frogs appear creepy and oversized (the size of "real frogs") in the actual mugs! I contacted Lake Home by email, and received an automated error message from Microsoft several days later, stating: "Your message couldn't be delivered. Despite repeated attempts to contact the recipient's email system it didn't respond." So Lake Home is running an ecommerce store without reliable email. Great!! LOL !!! Then, several days later I called Lake Home and left a message stating my intention to return the items because my daughters didn't want them. No response. Then, I called back again several days later, and reached Lidia (store owner). She gave me a story about how "she didn't know how to do a refund from a website purchase" and "they only take returns within 14-days." Finally, I decided that since my transaction was made using my VISA card, I just disputed the transaction. And I will let VISA sort this out. What a nuisance.

I ended up having them do it and couldn't be happier...he came to the house to give us an estimate....very polite and friendly. He did the cleaning today and my carpet looks like brand new....and it is probably 20-25 years old. I liked the fact that he was local and has been in business for many years. Also reasonably priced.
