We moved into our home and noticed one of the cabinet doors was warped and the face was cracked/ peeling. We were in a tough spot because if we could not repair this one door, then all of the cabinets would have to be replaced. The previous owners must have cheaply remodeled with discontinued cabinets. Everywhere we called and asked we were told we could not get a replacement door because our cabinets were no longer in existence. I called the Refinishing Touch and after speaking with Wendy I felt confident that they could do the job. They originally tried getting me a door and the profile did not match ( remember cabinets have been discontinued). I am a perfectionist and could not settle for anything, but a perfect match. They could tell I was not pleased and decided to go in a different direction by repairing the old one. They want to have a satisfied customer. They will work with you until your happy and in my opinion I think this is what good customer service is. My cabinet door looks brand new and perfect. I could not ask for more. I would go back in a heartbeat!!!!! I wish I kept the before picture of the door because it was warped, discolored and cracked. The first company I went to even destroyed it further. Refinishing Touch reveneered the door and viola. I am a happy customer.

Wendy wasn't even going to give any compensation for extremely late and poor work (she eventually gave us a very, very small discount and was very rude about it). We have to fix parts of our chairs where pieces are now missing. Please do yourself a favor and find someone else. UPDATE---My husband told me I was being "too nice" in my review because he had a worse experience with her. I purchased (2) frog mugs from Lake Home Living for $66. They were gifts for my twin daughters, and arrived several days later. The mugs looked cute in the pictures, but the frogs appear creepy and oversized (the size of "real frogs") in the actual mugs! I contacted Lake Home by email, and received an automated error message from Microsoft several days later, stating: "Your message couldn't be delivered. Despite repeated attempts to contact the recipient's email system it didn't respond." So Lake Home is running an ecommerce store without reliable email. Great!! LOL !!! Then, several days later I called Lake Home and left a message stating my intention to return the items because my daughters didn't want them. No response. Then, I called back again several days later, and reached Lidia (store owner). She gave me a story about how "she didn't know how to do a refund from a website purchase" and "they only take returns within 14-days." Finally, I decided that since my transaction was made using my VISA card, I just disputed the transaction. And I will let VISA sort this out. What a nuisance.
