I have been seeing Nicole for over three years and she has been nothing short of incredible. In fact, I don't see any other healer/masseuse because no one compares. I see Nicole for monthly healing massage sessions where she helps alleviate stress and back pain. I have never had someone alleviate knots the way she does, it's remarkable. Nicole practices energy work and without me telling her knows how to find and work out my neck/back pain. I always leave with a sigh of relief because any pain/stress/tension is mitigated. For folks who want/need a short review: Nicole's skills and deeply caring and empathetic approach literally have me planning how soon I can get back to the L.A. area for another session (I live on the other side of the country). If you live in L.A.--congrats for having such a skilled healer within driving distance! For folks who like more detail: Nicole began my session by asking a few questions to help focus the massage and bodywork she would do. I don't know about you, but it's often very difficult for me to talk about deep sources of stress in my life. Throughout our initial conversation, Nicole was patient, warm, and kind--these qualities emanate from her and she immediately created an environment that was peaceful and calming. Before the bodywork, Nicole also asked if I was familiar with Reiki techniques (being honest, the answer was kind of, but not really), she asked me if I was familiar with bodywork or energy work (again, not really). She took time to explain what she'd be doing, and did so in a way that was really helpful. I've been to therapeutic massage sessions where the person just launches into things in the first session (not my favorite) and Nicole's approach fully honored and acknowledged the body, mind, and spiritual "stuff" (my term, not hers) that needed to be addressed. It's not an exaggeration to say that the session was transformative. Nicole possesses skills that helped me release negative energy and emotions I either hadn't come to terms with or didn't know was there. Maybe most importantly, she helped bring forth sources of light and strength I wasn't sure I possessed. If you approach descriptions like this with a healthy sense of skepticism--awesome, I totally get it--and, also, book a session. The session was pretty intense; I was glad to have been keeping up with a daily meditation practice because it seemed to help. At the end of the session, I left feeling mentally "lighter" than I had in months...maybe years, and this is in addition to having the physical pain in my back and neck addressed. I like a good deep tissue massage, usually Thai, every 2-4 weeks. I am also a man of science and healthy skepticism, not ashamed to admit that Nicole's self-proclaimed title -- "Master Healer of the Mind, Body, and Spirit" -- threw me off. It sounds pretentious. So I went ahead thinking, "What the heck, be curious. If nothing else, maybe I'll get a good deep tissue massage." After four sessions, I can testify: the title fits. This woman has a rare gift. She is completely present during the session, asking a few gentle questions to guide her healing session. Nicole unleashed a wave of energy that I have never felt before -- a passionate feeling of peace, or bliss, or unconditional love. I was "high" for the rest of the day. I talked to a friend about my experience, a medical doctor with a specialty in psychiatry. She validated my experience scientifically, explaining that some medical healers have a way of enabling the body to heal itself -- whether through traditional Western medicine or Eastern medicine. The feelings I described, said the doctor, would be an every-day, ordinary conversation in Eastern culture. She also warned that for every true healer, beware of dozens of charlatans. Nicole is real. Nice she has good reviews but for someone who claims to be a healer and wishes to help people with pain, I feel otherwise. I purchased 3 massages on groupon for myself, my son and my husband. When I called her to make an appointment she said she could not see us for 3 weeks but if we cancelled our groupon (immediately within 24 hours) and pay her cash, she will get us in within a few days time. I felt like this was dishonest and shady but I did so since I really wanted my family to be seen within a few days and not wait almost a month. Fast forward a few days and she is confirming the appointment which she scheduled for a Saturday because she said it was the only day she could do all 3.... and I sent her the cancelled groupon info and once again asked if she would honor the prices but now her story changed. Now it was $69 per person and she told me her regular price is $89 so now I am supposed to think I am getting some amazing deal i guess!!!! (my groupon total for all 3 was $159.50 including one - 60 min deep tissue massage and two - 60 min deep tissue massage with reiki energy healing session with consultation) So she charging me $47.50 more than I had paid on groupon. After going back and forth on text... she told me -- "I think you should go with something that you can afford... plus I take Saturdays off i was coming in for you.." Let me mention, I never begged for a Saturday appointment she was the one that asked if it was good for me. I also told her I can afford the higher price that wasnt the point.. it was the principle of the matter. If you say you are going to honor a price than HONOR it! Not to mention I think it is not good business practice to suck people in on Groupon at lower prices and then try to gouge them by saying you must pay more and I can see you sooner. Why did her schedule open up all of a sudden and she couldn't take me with a groupon.? Bottom line - I cancelled the massage. And now she has bad Karma for trying to screw over a new client and Groupon. read more

I've had numerous distant healing sessions now with her ( I may have been one of her firsts :) :) ) and each session was possibly even more powerful than in person energy healing. The work this woman does is beyond words! I came to her June '19 and my life elevated into a completely different space by November'19. I regret to write a negative review but I feel very disappointed with Nicole. I purchased Nicole Lunan groupon for $69, as a gift for a friend. I just realized that my friend never used it and it expired. The good thing is (or so I thought) that the purchased value $69 never expires and can be applied to the same service that it was originally for, provided I pay for the difference in prie. This is according to groupon policy and it is also a the Credit Card Act Law in California. However, when I tried to use it with Nicole, she refused to honor the agreement she had with Groupon and simply said she doesn't accept expired groupons. She also told me to contact groupon and trade it for another service....This is not the way it works and of course Groupon wouldn't let me do that, especially after she already pocketed the money from my purchase. I wrote Nicole 2 polite emails telling her I wanted to use just the value I paid for towards her services and send her a screen shot of the groupon policy that states that the value I paid never expires and can be applied to the same service that it was initially for. It didn't help... Needless to say, this is very unprofessional. And I am honestly surprised that Nicole consider her self spiritual. I was expecting that, if she is who she claims to be, she will handle this situation with more honor and grace. I must say I didn't know what to expect before seeing Nicole, I had never been seen by a healer and never experienced Reiki. After the session I left feeling rejuvenated and completed relieved. Nicole is an amazing masseuse. I think my husband have been seeing her for 2 years now. When my daughter was maybe 2-3 months old, my back would hurt when I stood up from sitting on the ground. It was from being hunched over for feedings. I sounded like an old lady trying to get up, and I was only 33! After I went to Nicole for a massage, my back didn't hurt anymore. Let me start by saying Nicole was INCREDIBLE. I had a 24 hr layover in LA and decided I would get a massage so I went on trusty ol' yelp and found Nicole Lunan. My appointment booking was very last minute and at first there was no available slots but Nicole immediately emailed me once something opened up and I was all set for my 10:30 am appointment. Got there at around 10:15 am and by 10:28 am I was in the room with Nicole all set and ready for my massage. Nicole was very engaging and she exuded such positive energy and good vibes. I usually don't open up and speak on things but Nicole helped me to understand some things about myself by me simply just saying it out loud. My favourite part of this session was the healing bit. I went to see Nicole during a low point in my life. I was having a lot of physical pain on my shoulder and back due to a big car accident and I had tried traditional forms of treatment but needed something more. I was desperate to reduce the pain. Not only was I in physical pain at the time but I was going through a lot emotionally as well.
