great customer service and took care of my equipment I really recommend going to maximum outdoor…read morethey have a bunch of equipment for sale and parts and know what they are doing

Believe the bad reviews and do your research…read more My riding lawnmower had issues with shifting gears. Many times I would put my mower in reverse and it would still move forward. Chose Maximum for their pickup service due to my work schedule. I will say that is a nice service. After one week of them having my mower I had not heard from them, so I called. They couldn't find my mower. Called me back and said they found it and would let me know by the next day. Four days passed until they called. They said nothing was wrong with the mower it was working fine. I allowed them to service the machine changing a blade, oil, spark plug, and clean. With the delivery charge it was just under $500. But there was a problem, the shifting problem I sent it in for to be fixed. Didn't get fixed. This time when I put my mower in neutral it acted like the parking break was on. There was also a new problem it wouldn't turn on at all. Which was weird because I personally changed out the battery that I bought from O'Reilly 2 1/2 months prior. I called them again wanting them to look. They picked it up and called within a few days. Said my battery was dead and now my steering wheel was bent. Made no mention of the shifting (the sole reason I called them the first time). He kept saying it was fine. Now this is the important part. I asked them check the shifting again and whatever keeps the battery charged. He said he would talk with his team. At NO POINT IN TIME did I say YES to the battery and steering wheel. A week goes by and I get a message saying they'd like to deliver my machine. I call them back and said that I was confused why my machine was being returned when no one contacted me about my request. The man on the phone said I "okayed" the repair. I absolutely did not. He asked me what I wanted to do. I said put the original battery back. He kept saying it wouldnt run if I did. I told them I want to return the battery that I bought from O'Reilly since it was under warranty. He told me okay but it most likely wouldn't be returned today. I said that was fine. He then calls me back about 30 minutes later and says they cant find my old battery and discounts the new one by $40. Keep in mind I would've gotten $80 back from O'Reilly since they sold me a lemon battery. When the staff delivered my mower I asked about my battery and he said they just put it in a junk pile and that they give them back to customers on requests. So the guy on the phone lied to me. He then said to me he didnt know what the problem was because I "okayed" it. You could tell the annoyance. I DID NOT OKAY IT. If they didn't see a problem I was going to tell them not to fix a thing and send it back. And to say that I did and show on their paperwork that I did is fradulent. ZERO PERMISSION WAS GIVEN. They charged me $160 for a job I did not okay. After drop off, I hopped on my mower. They set it to the lowest speed and the mower did shift correctly 9 times out of 10. I set the speed to medium and it shifted correctly about 3 out of 10 times. NO ONE drives on the lowest setting. I hurt myself parking my mower because I put it in reverse and it kept going forward I had to slam on the break so I didn't run into my house. Looking through all the receipts they gave me. It said NOTHING about what I ACTUALLY wanted repaired. The first time the receipt said needs servicing. The second receipt says it wont start or hard start. The second receipt says shifts fine, but no indication that was my concern and their processes. If they sat on it longer than 5 minutes and changed speeds they would see the problem. But they chose to charge me for other things I didnt ask for. Yes I asked for service because I believed they were telling the truth. But I did NOT ask for the battery or steering fix.
