Holy smokes! There were 200 people in line to check-out when we arrived. They had a clerk dedicated to organizing the check out line. This place is always packed. They carry lots of athletic shoes and wear for men, women and children. The customer demographics are amazing. You see everyone from tourists to athletes politely selecting the perfect shoes. The prices were 40 percent off reduced prices for Black Friday and mama needed new shoes. I found a great pair on new running shoes for $38 dollars, which is my price point. I can't tell if any of their products are made for factory but everything is high quality. I've had good service at this location with experts finding the perfect shoe for an aging runner. The apparel is nice but sizes are limited and prices are high. Be sure to check out the post season clearance racks for bargains. It took me 30 minutes to get through the line to check out. But I left happy with new shoes in hand. read more

I have not seen such ludicrous safety measures this month as I have at Nike factory store in Edinburgh outlet!! First the line is wrapped around the building "no social distancing" literally standing on top of each other with some actively coughing!!!!!:0. Then security is only allowing a few inside to keep in line with 75% capacity guidelines. Now if everyone stands outside, some with masks some without and some coughing, no distance between people what is the point!! Didn't take me 1 min to get out of there!! read more

Cool store with the potential for good deals if you hit it on the right day.

Not the first time at this location, not to best visit, found the inventory to be limited as compared to what they usually have, also some of the prices were higher than before for the same items we had purchased before, I understand it's Christmas time but the slides were double the price that we had paid at summertime. Just glad we had purchased when we did. Will definitely return, still cheaper than the mall. read more

These guys have great customer service. I was here last week and bought a pair of the be true collection blazers which are supposed to come with little Velcro pride flags, but when I got the shoes home I noticed the flags weren't in there. After contacting Nike's customer service to buy them separately and being told they wouldn't sell them without the shoes themselves, I called this store to see if there was any way they had extras I could get. They told me they did have extras, and since I live about an hour away they were willing to ship them to me. They've already arrived after just a couple days. I'm sure this isn't a regular practice of theirs, but I'm so grateful they did it for me. The associate who answered my call was super helpful and polite, although I didn't catch her name. read more

This store is always hit or miss for me. Most of the shoes that are on sale are also on sale online and probably cheaper. I did get a Nike sports bra and Nike compression leggings for a decent price. It's rare that I find a gem in here. They do have a great selection and the store is always neat no matter how many customers are shopping. read more

As I was leaving the store pushing my son in his stroller about 5 workers were just standing there talking and didn't offer to open the door for me as I was struggling to with my big bag and trying to push a stroller. This Nike store is well stocked. They often have really good sales, and their items are top quality. I've shopped at this store for years, and I've always had excellent luck. The employees here don't do the hard sell, but they make themselves available if you have questions. The way the registers are set up means you don't have to wait forever to check out. I wouldn't drive to Edinburgh Outlets for just Nike, but I always try to go when I'm at the outlets. read more

They took a phone order from me over the phone and took my payment information but then called me back 30 minutes later to tell me they could not sell me the product that I thought I had already purchased. They told me since they did not process my payment that I did not purchase it but how would I know how long it takes them to process a payment?!? BAIT & SWITCH! Because I took time off work to pick it up I asked if there was anything I could receive since I chose not to make money at my job to travel there. They told me there is absolutely nothing they can do and after the GM agreed it that they were in the wrong he continued apologizing but had no action and explicit stated he would not take any action. Will never do business with again! Terrible customer service. Just a bunch of apologies. They made it right and got me my product and a voucher. read more

When I went here and I've been several times. I've never really had a issue. I go in look at shoes and normally some one comes by within 10 min to ask if I need help. I have even taken my 2 little kids with and the ladies were so nice and helpful to figure out what they like and what I could afford. I don't have a bad thing to say. Sometimes I do see the employees gathered around a bit but have always had someone come up to ask if I needed anything. There young what do you expect. This Nike location has the poorest customer service I've experienced. At the door there is an employee standing there but did not greet us upon entering. Then we had to squeeze past another employee twice in a shoe aisle and neither time did he say anything. The store is very spacious and has a good selection. At the register, there were a group of employees talking not looking up. Finally one of them saw us and nudged another one to ring us out. No conversation or rapport building, just business. This was on a Sunday afternoon where there wasn't that many customers so maybe the employees were bored. Very disappointed in the service. read more

Extremely poor customer service. I used to swear by this outlet,until today. Every year, we bought school shoes here and we have a family of six, so this is not a cheap or easy task. The last time we bought shoes there,I told the cashier what had happened with my daughter's shoes falling apart a week after purchasing them. She informed me that we can bring the shoes back and get them replaced. She proceeds to tell us about how a guy came in and the shoes were about a year old and completely battered, and Nike replaced them. My son's shoes developed holes in the side of a shoe, so we went today to get it replaced and get a pair of cleats for football. My husband and I got the shoes for him for Christmas. We walked in and waited in line. When we got up to the counter, I showed the girl the shoe and explained what happened. She asked me to wait while she got someone else to evaluate the shoe. The person that she asked to come over looked at me, frowned, and said," Go ask ____" (I don't remember the girl's name.) She went to another cashier, and started talking to her about the shoes. The other cashier looked and them, looked at me, and said, "I don't know..." in an almost condescending tone. The manager (or who I presume was a manager) appeared at that point, and my cashier turned to speak to her. She kept glancing at me, then the shoe, then back at me, like she was studying me. I started to get a bit perturbed because I felt that they thought that I was just trying to get a free pair of shoes. The first words out of her mouth was, "I'm sorry, we can't do anything for you." I told her what the cashier had told me before and she had someone fiddle with the computer for a few minutes before turning back to me and saying, "It's looks like these shoes have pretty good wear on them." I said that they were worn every day by a fifteen year old boy. Of course they would have wear on them. She said again that there was nothing they could do for us and that shoes are only meant to last for 6 months. I smiled, turned to my son and said, " You are NOT getting cleats here," thanked her, walked out, and went to the Puma Outlet and bought 2 pairs of shoes for my daughters and then headed to Under Armour and purchased a pair of cleats for my son. NEVER will I step foot inside a Nike outlet, specifically this one, ever again. read more

Contrary to what a lot of people have said about the The Nike Outlet, it actually wasn't that bad. Grant it, I didn't think the shoe selection was that great, but I was just browsing. I really didn't think I'd end up buying anything, but, they did have the socks and shorts I was looking for. This came as a nice surprise! Customer service was really good and the line to checkout seemed long at first, but it went through really fast. Also my dad said that one lady, I regrettably forget her name, helped him out greatly. Most of the employees at this store are useless. I needed someone to let me into the fitting room, so I walked up to the clump of 20-something men (at least 5 of them, all wearing the lanyard ID) who worked there. I stood there for at least a minute, looking at them, 3 items on hangers in my hands, waiting to be acknowledged. It never happened. I then approached an older woman who was giving orders to a younger employee. She bumped into me on her way to the stock room, but didn't stop. I decided I'd look for shoes since trying stuff on was a failure. I narrowed down my choices to 4 pairs, then tried to find someone who could tell me the key differences in the pairs. They all felt fine, but I was buying them only for running...you can't always tell how something is going to feel after a few miles from walking around a store for 10 minutes. It took 5 minutes and 6 employees walking by until one asked if I needed any help. It was the white-haired guy with glasses. He was very knowledgeable and helpful regarding Nike's newer soles, and what the numbers me. He explained the cushioning and also pointed out the features that made each shoe more or less supportive and better for different types of feet and runners. I ended up getting the Air Pegasus (I think I ran in these in high school) for $65. Having what I actually came for, I sought out an employee to let me into the fitting room again. The guy I snagged didn't have a key. He found someone else who did. He said, "I do not have a key, but this is ___. He would love to let you into the fitting room. He will do it with pleasure." I thought that was creeeeeepy. read more

We made a special trip to Edinburgh on our way home from vacation to school shop last week. They had the particular pair of Nikes my son was looking for, so we purchased them. Only one of the shoes was in the box, so they retrieved the other shoe for us when we went to check out. I should have checked them myself, but upon arriving at home my son realized a few days later that they had given us two left shoes!!! I called them immediately. I was told to send them out express mail and they would send the correct pair back to us immediately. That was Friday. It is Monday and still no shoes. Their manager said they don't ship anything on Saturday or Sunday. (This is the part where as a manager I would have gotten myself in a car on Saturday and shipped them myself from a post office. That's what managers do.) My son starts school tomorrow and we have no shoes for him to wear! I will be shopping else wear next time. I will never return to this store again. I should mention. That they said they were willing to reimburse my shipping costs plus an additional 30% off for my trouble. That doesn't get shoes to us any faster though:( read more
