Nikki is absolutely fantastic. We've been going to Nikki's for about 6+ months now. My toddler loves going to her and I feel confident that he's safe and happy at her child care. He's learning so much right now, soaking up the books and flash cards she uses. She's kind, caring, understanding, and flexible with schedule. The cost is reasonable for the area too. It's a great home child care with a really nice play area in the back yard. I would highly recommend Nikki's child care to anyone looking for a daycare for there little one. My son started there 3 months ago right before he turned 1 years old. We registered our 18 month old son in Nikki's Child Care in September after taking him out of a day care center where he was continuously getting sick. We've been with Ms Nikki now for just over 2 months and we LOVE her! My daughter has been with Miss Nikki for about a month now, and she loves it! When she first started out, she had a hard time whenever I would drop her off in the morning (as would a normal 2 year old); but Miss Nikki always made her feel comfortable throughout the day. During the first couple of weeks, Miss Nikki would send photos of my daughter to show what she's doing, and there's always an open communication through text messages. So far, after being in child care for a month, my daughter RARELY cries when she's dropped off in the morning, she walks in there with a big smile on her face and ready to play with her friends. Miss Nikki always sends home a daily report on what my child ate, how many times she's had her milk, as well as how many times her diaper's been changed - so that definitely helps as well. I would recommend this place to parents who are looking for child care. PS. I love that this place has a very nice and secure gate. I will recommend Nikki's child care to people who is looking for a daycare. My son has been attending Nikki's care for almost 3 months now. Its a gated house. You ring the doorbell and nikki will buzz you in. There is another door which is child proof before you actually get to the place. Cameras all over the house. The place is cozy, clean and comfortable for the little ones. There is also an outside area where the kids can run around and play. When you drop off your kid, Nikki will greet you and makes your little one feel comfortable. My son has separation anxiety so he would cry when ever i drop him off but Nikki makes sure that he feels comfortable and situated whenever I'm about to leave. Really appreciate that. She sends daily report about your child. What they eat, activity for the day, and whenever their diaper has been changed. I believe she sends reports via texts messages throughout the day as well. My only take is that you have to pick up your child before 5pm. After 5 theres a charge of $1.00 a minute. I myself trek the 405fwy everyday real tough. I used to really like this facility until I started to notice some things that made me feel extremely uncomfortable. The facility is always a mess, toys everywhere outside clean up doesn't seem to exist at this place! Also I have caught Nikki curling her hair before while a child was already present at the daycare! How is that appropriate supervision? Oh right IT ISNT! Also, she had her sick dog inside the facility while my child and other children were present! As Nikki's first official client, we wanted to share our experience on her still developing Day Care.  We will try to stick to just the facts, rather than opinion, so here it is: Nikki is one of the nicest individuals we have met.  She was very sweet, very open / accommodating to our requests.  Not sure you will find a nicer individual in the Day Care field.  Which is truly what drew us in to sign with Nikki. When Nikki first explained her vision of her new business to us, it sounded like she wanted the business to be focused around toddlers / pre-school, which was mainly her experience for the past few years before she was let go (on good terms - confirmed from pre-school she previously worked at).  But she was open to accepting our infant (4 month old), and her license permitted her to an infant, as we were told.  After speaking with her references, all of her references had toddlers that Nikki took care of.  None of them had Nikki take care of an infant, although one of her references said that she spoke with a different reference that said Nikki babysat her infant for a little while (so reference of a reference confirmed - guess we had to trust them?). :) So we took a leap of faith with a young Day Care individual, knowing that Nikki didn't have extensive experience with infants, which is not easy concerning your infant first born child. We decided to start off with part-time Day Care to test the waters.  Two days the first week (Mon & Fri), and two days the second week (Thurs & Fri).  After the first day, Nikki reported that our little guy had good moments, and fussy moments, but overall great!  The second day she reported he was very fussy, and she brought in her assistant (which is her very young cousin).  The third day came, he did good again!  And the fourth day came, which was also the starting day for one other infant (so she now has two infants, which I believe reduces the amount of toddlers she can take in per her license unless she had more Day Care professionals - probably not what she envisioned for her business).  So here we are, the 4th day in, no reports of issues from Nikki throughout the day, everything was normal according to her text messages throughout the day.  My husband goes to pick up our little one, and Nikki informs us that she is dropping us as clients, and is no longer willing to take care of our fussy infant because she believes there are better more infant focused day cares to take care of our infant.  SHOCKING to say the least.  Not only did she drop us without any warning, but she revealed that she was only able to feed our 4 month old infant 2 OUNCES of milk the ENTIRE 9 HOUR DAY!  Nor did our baby sleep at all!  No phone call, no text, nothing to let us know that our infant was not eating or sleeping.  Nikki said that she didn't want us to think that she couldn't take care of our baby.... So here we are, back to square one, scrambling to find a new day care who can handle infants.  Looking back, and as Nikki put it herself, it's a good thing that she dropped us, as our infant would have continuously been deprived of proper infant care and attention. read more

I recommend Nikki's Child Care to those who are looking to enroll their children. My daughter has been attending for about 3 months now. She has had a very hard time adjusting to the new environment without Mom, Dad or Grandma being around. She has had difficulty adjusting to nap time as well. The entire time, Nikki has remained patient and been extremely open to trying out new ways to make her feel comfortable. Now, she is taking 1-2 hour long naps and does not cry anymore when being dropped off (except when she's dropped off by me). Daily reports are sent home and Nikki also sends texts throughout the day if you want to get an update on how your child is doing. She just recently extended the hours from 5 pm to 5:30 pm which is a HUGE help for those trying to make it on time from work. The house is surrounded with an automated gate and the door to enter only opens when it is buzzed from the inside. Multiple cameras are placed around the residence. The children have a lot of activities to do inside and there is an outside area as well. Nikki provides meals/snacks for the children. She is very affordable and for the experience the children receive it is so worth it. They get to learn about colors, shapes, numbers, etc. and get to have fun while doing so. Mrs Nikki is a wonderful young lady who gave me the first impression of having a genuine passion for caring for kids. I knew that once I met her I can truly trust her with my child because I had that instinct of knowing that my child would be in good hands as I am away from my baby. Our daughter was going on spring break and the child care we would normally bring her to was completely full. We had to find a place we liked and felt comfortable with in just a few days. Luckily my husband came across Nikki's Child Care, set up an appointment to check out the place. when we arrived love how it is located on a cul de sac, and you have to wait until she buzzes you to get in and out of the place, she has cameras all over. My 2-year-old son has been with Miss Nikki for a month now, and we were so nervous to have him in out-of-home care. This is my son's first time at a daycare so it was rough the first couple of weeks and Nikki did everything she could to try to make it feel like home for him. I was very uncomfortable with the idea of leaving my son at a daycare but Nikki would send me updates and pictures throughout the day to let me know how he was doing and that put me more at ease about everything. He was also having a hard time staying asleep during nap time and Nikki would try EVERYTHING she could to make sure he got his rest. Now he is sleeping through nap time!
