When I was getting married a year ago my wedding coordinator suggested that we get a dresser on the…read moreday of our wedding. My mom and I laughed about that absurd idea because how hard could it be to get 1 bride, mother-of-the-bride, and 8 bridesmaids dressed. We do just fine on our own each morning! And so no dresser for us... Wedding day arrived and everyone managed to get dressed just fine, but there were definitely some bow tying issues. Fortunately, my wedding venue (The Breakers) has wedding planning down to a science and their fabulous team made sure everyone in my party was zipped and tied to perfection. However, if I hadn't gotten married at The Breakers where I seriously had 1 woman who's entire job was to hold my the back of my dress until I was bustled (I kid you not) and a talented bow tying floirst (shout out to Richard from Breakers by Design) I'm starting to think the idea of a dresser isn't such an absurd idea. I was back in Palm Beach as maid-of-honor for my best friend's wedding last month and she hired Lisette as her dresser for the day. And Lisette really went above and beyond. Just a few of the many tasks Lisette and her fabulous assistant, Lou, performed that day: * They steamed all our dresses * Manged to get 8 bridesmaids into 8 dresses with VERY tricky zippers * Sticky taped our boobs so our dresses wouldn't fall down. * Helped the bride and mother-of-the-bride put on their dresses, shoes, jewelry, and even deodorant * Found a curling iron at the spa of the hotel and re-curled the bride's hair after we discovered the hairdresser had taken off as soon as we started pictures (not cool of the hairdresser by the way). I was so impressed with Lisette that I took a few cards and have passed them on to all the brides I know getting married in South Florida. I have no idea how much Lisette costs, but whatever it is...she's worth it!

Our event is on this Sunday and they are closed for retail purchases as most flower shops are, although, they are open for the flower arrangement pick up. The doors were locked until 925am and started getting concerned, but the employee quickly carried the several arrangements of roses to our truck for transport. Wish they had a contact phone number available on Sundays. The roses were vibrant and perfectly positioned on each table at the venue for viewing with a few odd sniffs from guests.

They did the wedding of the Parents of the Groom in NY many years ago, and both my Husband and my Mitzvahs in 2003, and 2008 respectively. My family has known Lane for 25+ years, and there is absolutely no one I would have trusted to understand me, or my vision, more!! I asked for a modern, white/cream color palette, with an acrylic chuppah, and told Lane there was nothing he could do that I wouldn't love. He always manages to top himself, but this was absolutely BEYOND!! Lane is no doubt known for his creativity, and attention to detail. The floral arrangements were absolutely stunning; we know he went above and beyond, ensuring every bouquet, centerpiece, and accent piece was flawless and fresh. Our guests couldn't stop raving about the beauty of the flowers! It was also so special to have him hand deliver the personals on the morning of the wedding with our wedding planner to make sure that we loved everything!!
