This motel is the Niland Inn. Each room has a small fridge, microwave, and flat screen television. Also has air conditioning and a fan. There is a huge hated in area with bbq and seating benches for the guests. There is a grocery store within walking distance (one block away) and a restaurant Buckshot deli and dinner next door. It is quiet and right off the U.S. Highway 111. What to do out here: bring your horses, ride out in the desert. Bring your dirt bikes, atv's and enjoy the desert. Get out of the city for a weekend. Very friendly staff. The owner takes care of the place.

The room I stayed in was clean and comfortable. The staff member, Lisa, was amazing. Very nice and quick with work.

Quiet little spot. Great for day tripping and photography. No frills room, good bed, nice TV with dish network. Wifi is now available.

The Best Western in Brawley used to be my go-to but I may be driving a little further out to stay…read moresomewhere nicer next time. Now check in was great. It was easy and the girl at the check in desk was great. Breakfast and the staff member who worked there were also great. And I will say the room was clean so cleaning crew was doing a good job because the issue was more maintenance than anything. The issue was that the room was so old and outdated and the non bed furniture in the room was pretty gross which is why the low score. As I said, all customer service was nice, the only exception was when we asked for 3 extra pillows but were told no, we had enough and only given 1. That did irritate me but I brushed it off (this was a few hours after check In, after we got back to our room after a funeral). We got the suite which is not in the hotel and is actually in a building near the hotel. It is a spacious room but it is sooo worn out. Pillars were rotting and peeling, the rug was dirty and the couch and chair with an ottoman were so disgusting, I was genuinely grossed out and didn't touch them. Additionally, the toilet had a hard time flushing and after leaving some water running in the sink while brushing my teeth, it clogged up a little. Overall, I will not stay here again.

I felt safe, there are cameras and locked doors to get inside and there was always someone at the front desk. The hot breakfast bar was not the greatest but its free so cant complain.

I wish I would have read the reviews before staying here. One word to describe this place:…read moreDECREPIT. I like to brag that as a single man I never sleep alone; this night I wish I did; there were bugs everywhere inside this room. I checked in around 11pm and was super tired so I slept there til I couldn't and left at 5am . Avoid this place.

AVOID AT ALL COST I am working on a project here in the area…read morefor a few days so checked in and paid for 3 nights. After evaluating my room (#114) it was crystal clear I was NOT going to stay here!! Sooo being the courteous person I am I just went somewhere else and figured I'd check out in the morning and ask for a refund on the following two nights. Well when I showed up at 7:00am to checkout and ask for my refund the manager "owner" said "absolutely NO REFUND even after realizing I didn't even occupy the room!! To be clear,, I was not asking for a 3 night refund, but the remaining 2 nights that I paid for!!! Keep in mind it appeared that there was nobody else staying here at this time. It's not like he would be missing out on other customer revenue. Regardless of his alleged policy it's poor business practice and unethical in my opinion. Now for the condition of the room I was assigned to #114,,, an absolute train wreck,, filthy dirty and grimey. There was stains everywhere, doors, walls, furnishings and the bathroom area looked more like a biohazard than anything else. The 1/2 used roll of toilet paper on the toilet looked like it had poop on it as well. Yes the t/p hold was broke, hence the roll sitting on top of toilet. I work out of town quite often and stay in a lot of independent hotels and NONE have ever been in this condition,,, NONE For $90 per night we deserve much better, in fact I would NOT stay here for free. Bottom line,,, simply AVOID and drive on by, your health and safety deserve better!!! One more tidbit,,, I suspect this owner takes advantage of local migrant agriculture workers and that's what keeps this place going.

I've heard its not always like that though so we planned accordingly. Even on a hot summer day in August, we were extremely comfortable lounging here for 6+ hours. We soaked in the Solstice pool on and off throughout the day, laid around on the large and very comfy lounge chairs, ordered delicious drinks at the bar which was just a few steps away (partner loved the cocktails, I loooved the mocktails), and munched on the yummy food they will deliver to you at the pool. They do some cute things like periodically bringing around chilled towels, or frozen grapes, which we may or may not have become obsessed with and making our own ever since...oh and some great musicians were playing that they said was an impromptu performance. Really lent nicely to the atmosphere. Overall, a great way to spend a birthday! Resting, recharging, luxuriating, and unplugging. Would recommend. *Shoutout to Ingrid who checked us in and gave us a lovely tour of the facility which really helped alleviate my anxiety about figuring everything out :)

A group of ladies and I decided to visit here to access the hotel Hot Springs and mineral pools…read more You want to make sure that you get mineral sunscreen when you're in these facilities. This protects the fidelity of the mineral water pools. When you first walk up, there is a check-in camper. When you go in, they'll give you the information that you need for your room and stay. We opted to rent one of the private homes because of our group being larger. It was about a 2 block walk away from the resort which wasn't bad at all. The town is very small and you can literally count how many businesses are here. It's pretty cool. It was a very nice visit and I highly recommend coming to this resort and hotel. The 2 mineral hot springs pools are nice. I recommend that you upgrade with a stay so that you have access to the secluded pool, which is really private and a level up. People get day passes, but that only works at the main pool. The main pool gets very, very crowded with day pass attendees. Again, I highly recommend upgrading with a stay so that you have access to the very very nice amenities. There is a restaurant, called Long Shadow, and I'll have a separate review for that. Overall, this was a wonderful and great trip.
