I joined BoxFit as a beginner and the small class-size, combined with diligent attention of the trainers has massively improved my boxing skills and general fitness. I've had the privilege to train with most of the instructors (Deirdre, Houston, Colton, Paul, Bradley and of course Mike!), and they are all incredible people with a wealth of knowledge and boxing/ life experience. I love the early morning classes because I can get an intense workout done before work, which makes it so much easier to stay consistent. The people in there as well can help you out with stuff you don't understand. If canceling just know ABC Fitness is a pain in the ass to deal with. The gym has helped me out with my cancellation so I have no problems with them but ABC Fitness can suck my fatty. Coach Jose, I appreciate the knowledge you taught me even if it was for a short while. To the owner: I bet you get a lot of hate because of this but just know I enjoyed the gym and the people I trained with. They're all happy to see their students grow and be their best selves. -The place is very clean and full of professional and mature individuals who *mostly* take responsibility to clean to - which is truly saying something. - I have never been to a gym to welcoming and friendly. I usually just like to go in, do my thing, and get out. There are strong bonds formed here strengthened with every class we suffer through. Everyone has different goals and reasons for being there but we all support each others journey. Very much an "each one teach one" vibe. - also the Jocko supplements are actually really good. I hope to see more of that. The only thing I wish they had was a regular clock in the weight room and cross-fit room. I leave my watch at home when at the gym and I feel like I have to look at my phone every 5 min not wanting to miss class. Update: coming up in 2 years training with this gym. Boxing is the only thing that lets me destress, and the combination of great music, a skilled instructor, and the club like studio where you can get in the zone is the best work out. I like this location because you can pop into Trader Joes or grab a healthy quick bite form one of the many restaurants in this plaza.
