Regardless of how I feel on the way to the classes, I always leave energized and ready to smash the day! I joined BoxFit as a beginner and the small class-size, combined with diligent attention of the trainers has massively improved my boxing skills and general fitness. I've had the privilege to train with most of the instructors (Deirdre, Houston, Colton, Paul, Bradley and of course Mike!), and they are all incredible people with a wealth of knowledge and boxing/ life experience. The BoxFit crew makes you feel so welcome and I feel so very fortunate to have been introduced to this community. The gym has helped me out with my cancellation so I have no problems with them but ABC Fitness can suck my fatty. Coach Jose, I appreciate the knowledge you taught me even if it was for a short while. We tried it out for a couple months, hated the fact that there is no aircondition and classes that are listed on the website don't exist like stick martial arts. What a scam. I explicitly asked what the cancellation policy was suspecting that it was going to be a hassle, many gyms make it hard so they can continue charging our after you don't go there anymore. This place takes the cake in making it hard to quit. You have to send a REGISTERED letter well in advance then they charge you a $50 cancelation fee! For what! Just because you don't want to go to their hell hole anymore! Of course it's all in fine print and they don't tell you when you sign the IPAD. Then they send it to collections if you don't pay the $50. It's so sick and sad, especially because it's obvious there are a lot of young people who appear to be students or starting out in life and don't have the money that this a-hole extracts from them. This place is NOT badass, it's despicable! Go elsewhere where you are not going to be an ATM for this loser

I usually just like to go in, do my thing, and get out. There are strong bonds formed here strengthened with every class we suffer through. Everyone has different goals and reasons for being there but we all support each others journey. Very much an "each one teach one" vibe. - also the Jocko supplements are actually really good. I hope to see more of that. The only thing I wish they had was a regular clock in the weight room and cross-fit room. I leave my watch at home when at the gym and I feel like I have to look at my phone every 5 min not wanting to miss class. Update: coming up in 2 years training with this gym. Even with a fire that took it down and a second location opened up within just a few months the management is still quite professional and the coaches are awesome. You're hitting the bags, working on combos, and really getting out stress while building strength. The trainers, Brendon, JP, and Taylor are all incredible and keep the energy high the entire class.
