I was recognised as soon as I walked in and greeted with a smile and was told they would be with me in a minute (they were already serving, you see) so, acknowledgement (tick)! Then a gentleman came out beaming , happy to serve and suggested the fried rice, which I ordered he disappeared to a kitchen where you could hear the sizzling. I also ordered the spring rolls and was given an extra one (looove spring rolls so this was hug worthy had I still been in store when I realised). As I left the little shop I was thanked for my support of their business which was lovely. There menu isn't exactly extensive at this stage, they've been open 5 weeks and are looking to build on their existing menu which comprises of Banh Mi (yay! Local Bahn Mi), ramen noodles, cold rolls and sushi. There are a few other things as well but that makes up the main body of their menu at this stage. The food was enjoyable. I can't say that its the best I've ever eaten - but it's solid, decent food. I will be re-visiting :)

Anyway, that aside, there are the usual nibbles - Dim Sim, Spring Rolls and some nice looking cold rolls (to be tried on a later visit). The Noodle salads look really good and there is a varied Pho menu. But it's the Banh Mi that gets me in the door. So, my usual order - Roast pork, hold the cucumber, extra coriander. Yum Absolutely no complaints, although at nearly eight bucks, they could be a little more generous with the meat. The pastry is perfect; the stuffing is delicious and just spicy enough. The spring rolls are also a must. For mains, you have to try the satay tofu. Now I am a picky tofu eater, I have tried tofu from almost every Asian restaurant in Adelaide. This tofu is good. It is cooked to perfection, the sauce is peanuty, slightly spicy and delicious to soak up with a pile of steamed rice. The service is great, the owner always greets us when we go in and makes sure we are being looked after well. This authentic Thai restaurant has a great casual atmosphere which is enhanced by the friendly team of attentive waiting staff. The menu is well balanced and gives the customer great choices of authentic Thai dishes ranging from wok stir fries, noodle dishes and salads to traditional curries. The entrees I have tried are all exceptional - Pandan Chicken, Spring Rolls, Dim Sims, Thai Fish Cakes and Money Bags. I recommend you try the Pandan Chicken for its amazing flavour of spices. The Money Bags were also a pleasant surprise - especially as these are normally not a favourite of mine. The main dishes I have sampled were absolutely the best in Adelaide! When lightly heated the sauce oozes nicely over the cake. Yummy! The restaurant also opens for breakfast from 8:30am to11:30am with many breakfast options. I tried the Thai Omelette, which was a great breakfast choice. Newly added choices that I want to try are Smoked Norwegian Salmon, French Brioche Toast or the Pan Fried Duck Eggs. I had one uncomfortable experience with a waiter who was a bit rude, but I've been back multiple times over the years and he's been really great every time. Maybe I got him on a bad day? Whatever, all is forgiven thanks to the chilled out dinners I've had there since. The kitchen staff all seem knowledgeable when it comes to dietary requirements too, which is always something I appreciate. It can get really loud inside if you're there later, so my friends and I tend to get there a little after opening time and sit outside because hey, we're grandmas okay.
