AVOID! This is the worst waxing experience I have ever had to endure. I don't usually leave reviews…read morebut I wanted to warn people about this salon, I cannot understand the positive reviews. To start with the waxing was very poor quality, the therapists hands/gloves were covered in sticky wax throughout the appointment which was very uncomfortable when touching my skin. She repeatedly went over areas with hot wax which was very painful and I now have some skin peeling off. I still have hair left everywhere and I left covered in sticky wax. She also pointed out my stretch marks and asked if I had children, I do not think it is appropriate to comment on other peoples bodies when you are carrying out a treatment. The salon was untidy and unclean. The room was incredibly hot with a radiator blasting on a warm day, I was then made to feel incredibly embarassed and shamed for sweating. She blamed it on my clothing. At this point I felt so uncomfortable I just wanted to walk out. The therapist did apologise for making fun of my body but I was already done. When I told her there was hair left she did denied it and then offer to remove it but I told her I felt too uncomfortable and sore and I just wanted to get out of that place. I asked for a refund and was told no. Seriously consider if you want the same experience before booking.

First question I was asked rather rudely was "Is someone coming to take the kids?" I said no. Zara first told me that they were not allowed children because of the noise so she called her boss while we wait in the reception area, she then came back to say it was fine, that she understood sometimes you have to leave with children. Then gave me a questionnaire to fill in and while I was filling it constantly invading my personal space and asking details about my baby?? Zara then went away and came back the form was filled and then she asked where was I sitting the baby I said on the buggy. No no health and Safety there's no space in the room, goes back inside to call her boss and comes back to me saying that she cannot take the booking and did the refund. Then blaming me saying things like if you'd have told us before hand we would book a bigger room and that in Treatwell says no children and I Should have know. At this point I wanted to get out of this place and I said stop blaming me there's nothing on Treatwell and I have my receipts. The wacko Zara kept insisting that this was my fault and I left. What a lucky escape! It's 2022 and I will not have myself treated in places were there's no respect for the customer and ran ruthlessly squeezing people for their buck

The location is perfect, in the heart of Shoreditch, and the walk through the lively and historic Brick Lane neighborhood is a delight before or after your treatment. From the moment you arrive, you are welcomed into a calm, stylish space where water and tea are offered, and only whispering voices are heard. The atmosphere immediately puts you at ease. Whether you want a social manicure or pedicure in one of the relaxing armchairs on the ground floor, complete with an entertainment tablet and even a glass of bubbly, or you prefer peace and tranquillity with a facial or massage in the quiet treatment rooms downstairs, the Shoreditch Spa caters beautifully to both experiences. I have personally enjoyed several treatments here, and I highly recommend requesting Myriam or Timandra. Timandra provided me with a manicure and pedicure using the electric foot file, and the results were flawless--my hands and feet felt renewed, cared for, and polished to perfection. On another visit, Myriam delivered an exceptional Swedish massage. She worked with precision and great depth, easing a stubborn knot in my right shoulder. As someone with double knee and hip replacements, and scar tissue, I was impressed by how attentive and on target she was, tailoring the massage to my exact needs while still ensuring full relaxation. The spa offers a wide range of treatments for both men and women, using only high-quality products such as Dermalogica, Aromatherapy Associates, and OPI. They are also proud to offer the HydraFacial experience, ensuring there is something for everyone, whether your goal is relaxation, rejuvenation, or results-driven skincare. The therapists are true professionals, trained to the highest standards, and they take the time to provide personalised treatments that feel indulgent and restorative. Pricing is in line with other quality London spas, and for the level of service and expertise you receive, it represents excellent value. The building itself is stylish and welcoming, and every detail--from booking to treatment to leaving--flows smoothly and professionally. The Shoreditch Spa is more than just a place to pamper yourself; it is a sanctuary in the heart of East London. I cannot recommend it highly enough. Book your appointment today, and when you do, ask for Myriam or Timandra to ensure an extraordinary experience.

Recently, she was away and Yadilene did my facial and I also fell in love with her! Her massage basically sent me to sleep as did my pedicure (I was clearly exhausted already) so I left feeling the most relaxed I've felt in months! I also really appreciate Yadilene educating me a bit about what I need for my skin. They're all such a lovely bunch, even the receptionist Maricela! Highly recommend the spa, but especially Danute & Yadilene. Thank you ladies!

I've been on the hunt for a good beauty facialist (is that even a word?) for a while. I came to…read morePure Synergie for the first time back in March/April time, and I went back for a follow up appointment just a week or so ago. The salon is small but nice, and it is hidden away upstairs in a health shop. It looks out over the cutty sark which is pretty cool. The decor is kind of shabby chic, a lot of white boarding and whitewashed walls, and the salon is kept very clean. They are open on Sundays which I find quite convenient. I have had problem skin in the past - extreme dryness and the odd nasty spot. Rosemarie (the therapist and owner) didn't give me any false pretences - she said my skin was in pretty dire straits. Since that first appointment, I have been back a second time for an additional facial, and my skin is definitely improving. They do microdermabrasion here (which I found really good) and they also do a proper steam, cleanse and extraction on every facial. Rosemarie gave me some good tips and suggested I change my cleanser. The tips, along with two great treatments means that people keep mentioning to me how good my skin looks. I'll be back for appointments every 8 weeks if it keeps up (fingers crossed). I would recommend this place to locals and friends, hence the five star. It's a rare find in the area and I will add some photos next time I go.

I've been getting waxed for the last four years (half leg and Hollywood). I'm an American from…read moreCalifornia and recently moved to Greenwich, so I needed to find a waxing salon here. I found Pure Synergie online by searching for waxing in the Greenwich area, and I decided to try them. Elizabeth was the beautician specialist who did my waxing, and I can honestly say she did a quicker, less painful, and more thorough job than I've ever received in the States. Elizabeth used hot wax for the Hollywood and strip wax for the half leg. She was really friendly and made me feel very comfortable...because, let's be real, spreading your legs open to get waxed by a stranger is an odd situation, but Elizabeth really did make me feel comfortable. She mentioned that the Pure Synergie Greenwich location does a lot of waxing in their salon. I have fine, blonde hair and it's easy to miss spots when waxing, so Elizabeth used a light to double check her work and make sure all the hair was removed, which I appreciated. My appointment took no longer than 40 minutes. As the previous review mentioned, the salon doesn't really have a storefront. It's located upstairs above a health food place where you can get fresh smoothies, treats, etc. The inside of the salon is quaint with wood floors and has a nice, relaxing ambiance overall. I will absolutely be going back in 5-6 weeks for another round of waxing, and I would definitely recommend this salon and Elizabeth.

Add yourself to their…read moremailing list, as they often offer deals at special events and 50% off services between certain times/dates and such. Though I think they will eventually take cards, when I went in they took a bank transfer ahead of time for my procedure. The space is fairly no-frills, which is fine because it is a small and intimate salon with only a couple of employees (and Asma there pretty much all the time). That said, definitely make a booking. Though they offer a huge range of beauty treatments (manicures/pedicures, massages, makeup, spray tans, etc.) I came here for what I understand is Asma's specialty, semi-permanent false lashes. As Asma was training someone whilst applying my lashes (which I was able to get for half price, £90 for a full set), I learned a lot about applying lashes during my treatment. She uses a mix of lash brands to really tailor your false lashes to your natural set, and that provides for a more natural looking finished look. And what can I say, the finished set DID look good. I am not one to wear false strip lashes or much makeup at all, so this was a great way to really enhance my natural look without doing anything to unsubtle. The come-hither eyes come at a price. False lashes aren't super easy to live with, as you need to take good care of them. This means no steaming, no washing your eyes, rubbing your eyes, etc. I also got one infill from Asma about 3 weeks later. I had that set eventually completely removed at another salon, as I was home in America at the time. But that technician said that whoever put my lashes on did a really good job. To sum up, do your research about false lashes before committing to them, as they are both expensive and require upkeep. But if you decide to get them, go see Asma. She really is a pro and I doubt you'll be disappointed by her work. Next time I have a big event I want a splurge for, I'll be back. *blink, blink*
