I was almost ready to give up (everyone get out your iPhone 8's -- we're going portrait mode!) when I found Kayla. We traded some emails and met in person pretty soon after. I immediately fell in love with her friendly, laid-back personality and knew we'd found our girl! Working with Kayla was an absolute pleasure and her work is simply gorgeous! She schlepped all the way to Wiseman's View (about 2-hours from Charlotte) for our engagement photos and spent so much time with us on our big day. I was a little nervous that having a photographer in the room as we got ready was going to be awkward but Kayla fit right in as if we'd all been best friends for years! Now that the wedding is over, I'm kinda sad we won't see Kayla anymore. I'm currently scheming on how to convince her we really should be friends and hang out.

Throughout our entire experience with them...from meeting them at a Charleston Wedding Expo, to working with them at our Engagement Photo session, and through the day of our wedding, we couldn't even come close to finding two more professional, caring, and just awesome people...and that's just me talking about their personalities and level of service - it was an experience in its' own! Once we selected the venues for the engagement sessions and wedding, we left it up to Devin and Kathryn. They know what they're doing - and listen to them...you WILL NOT be disappointed! They make everything so easy for everyone!. Now, the photos...I have a hard time putting into words the level of happiness and excitement they are bringing us and our entire family. Audible gasps are heard each time we show these pictures to people. We're still receiving text messages and phone calls from people...they're in tears as they are going through the photos of our wedding that Devin & Kathryn took. I am extremely disappointed with the customer service experience, and certain omissions that were…read moremade on my wedding day. I was put under the false impression of being photographed, and did not receive any individual bridal images on my wedding day. I was asked to step out of certain photographs so others in my wedding party could be photographed. There are portraits of everyone in my wedding party except for me. Once the bridal omission was identified 6 weeks after the wedding- it was then that I received one of the worst customer service experiences to date. In exchange for the bridal omission, I was offered a single substandard photoshopped image with my left arm completely missing. This is an example of the quality of work that I received from this studio as a bride who contracted wedding day photography services. Hayley also refused to speak with me on the phone and work out an appropriate and reasonable resolution. The only regret I have from my entire wedding is contracting with this studio. My personal recommendation would be to avoid this wedding photography studio at all costs to not experience the same disappointment and frustration that my family and I did.

We first met…read morewith Inga for lunch to discuss our overall theme for our wedding and must have shots with family friends etc. My husband and I had a smaller budget and opted out of having a wedding planner. I admit that even after a year of research and watching plenty of bridal shows- I was still a little in the dark. Inga helped tremendously, informing me of customs or logistics I hadn't even thought of! She asked, "When you look back on your photos, what do you want (mood, theme, emotion) to see captured in them". Our agreed response was- fun. We didn't want your traditional stuffy posed shots, as we are not a very traditional couple. And she provided us with just that. She is not afraid to "play" with fun and creative ideas. I know little of photography, so I apologize for not having the proper verbiage but to put it simply she captured magic in those shots. Day of Inga was like an angel by my side- She is personable and easy to work with making me feel special while providing reassurance with the right combination of professionalism. She was there with me and my girls getting ready in the hotel, to the ceremony and late into the reception. Our posed photos were fun to shoot, and she gained appreciation from the crowd exclaiming "If you give me your undivided attention and work with me a I promise within 20 minutes I will have you with a drink in hand enjoying the reception"! Needless to say the bridal party was very cooperative making for a smooth transition. It seemed effortless, even our adorable yet impatient 3 year old flower girl didn't seem to mind. I could not be happier with the photos we got back, and we have got A LOT of photos back!! She said it was such a pleasure working with us that in editing she had trouble deciding between a few so included many options for us to go through. I've gotten my photos back recently and have been spending much of my free time shopping for frames and scrap booking. Needless to say many family members will be receiving photos over the next few holidays... I would definitely recommend her services to my friends and family in the future and I myself will keep her card handy for any other events we may have in our married future :)
