When I called to make an appointment, the receptionist was kind and I was able to get an appointment faster than I expected. Upon arriving, the office is beautiful but I had to wait 20 minutes beyond my appointment time. First they took a number of pictures of my skin which showed acne scarring and sun damage. Then, while she treated another client, I had to sit and watch a video about some product that I had no interest in. She returned and I signed paperwork and she began the microdermabrasion. I have to be clear that this is nothing like receiving the procedure at a spa. She was anything but gentle and my face still stings 14 hours later, something that has never occurred following the procedure in the past. Afterwards the cream she applied to my face burned horribly and I couldn't wait to wash it off. I eagerly look forward to receiving another microdermabrasion in the future but it definitely won't be done here; I'll be returning to a spa! Ouch!

The fine print included with the consent form, also states that they can use your images as they please ( unless you read the fine print & deny consent). The individual who starts the consultstion is fake nice. And laughed when we spoke about wether or not I had met with other surgeons and the prices I was quoted. Akron charges two to $3,000 more than a competitor in Mentor for the same exact procedure! Yet couldn't explain to me why and treated me as if I was lying. Once I was in a room, the assistant couldn't have been more cold and abrupt. She has absolutely no patience, knowledge or experience with hospitality. I have read other reviews that complain about her attitude. She had to keep leaving the room to ask the doctor questions because he couldn't be bothered by me. The male surgeon was incredibly rude, cold, arrogant & acted like he had better things to do. If you are not what he'd consider "high profile" it's clear you're not welcome. Money is money, it should never matter what a clients background is or what they look like. While I was in the middle of my consultation, a mirror was placed directly in front of me to try in implants. This faced the door- multiple employees kept opening the door without knocking or waiting for a response. Just walking in and out , leaving the door wide open for everyone to see my naked chest. This is an incredibly private moment and goes against the HIPPA laws and privacy act! I couldn't believe the lack of professionalism. I just wanted to cry and was so embarrassed and angry. The implants were dirty too, had long blonde hairs all over them. And they give you a dirty bra to try them on with. Then they wanted me to make a life changing decision in less than 5 minutes, it's not that simple. Their competition had me do a consultation, then come back to try on implants and take 2 photos only ( as I have Scopophobia & this sh**hole wasn't willing to work with me even though it's a super easy to lessen the amount of camera use). I couldn't get dressed & leave fast enough. I stormed out of the office as quickly as possible walking past the woman who started the process. Common sense tells you if a potential client doesn't return to finish the consult they're not interested. Yet she called the next day & played the stupid card when I told her what happened.
