I had three different outfits and he had his eye on the clock, shuttling me back and forth on his golf cart to the bridal suite when it was time for an outfit change. I also performed a solo dance to Madonna's "Like a Prayer," which went really well, thanks to Sean being so on the ball!! He moved the party guests from the bar area to the dance floor and coordinated with the DJ so I could make a surprise entrance from the rear of the building! We decided to take advantage of this because we trusted our venue and heard so many great stories of other brides and grooms enjoying their wedding and receptions. Unfortunately we were not one of them. From the very begining dealing with them was a hassle. I was only able to speak to anyone in regards to our wedding on Thursdays after 5pm. I never understood this. That alone was a red flag, I blame myself. On the day of, both the DJ and MC seemed to be completely clueless on how to work the crowd as far as what to play and how to get the people up and on the dance floor. Most of the time our guests were just sitting looking bored. The DJ absolutely RUINED the choreographed dance I did with my parents by messing up the music mid way. We literally had to turn around and tell him to put our music back on. Then he cut short the choreographed dance my husband and I did with our children. He didn't blend it or anything, just abruptly cut it off while we were still dancing. The genre of music we asked to be played for the ceremony prelude and dinner were not played. I didn't dare ask what was played during cocktail hour, but I'm sure that was wrong too. A few spanish songs were played and the MC asked for all the "Hispanics in the room" to get on the dance floor. I was mortified! A few of our guests were offended by this, others let it go. People started leaving like 2 hours early. I even wanted to leave but of course I had to stay and keep smiling even though i wanted to cry and run away. All of our guests have made comments saying our wedding was beautiful but the DJ sucked. My husband and I are so embarrassed by this. We didn't even get an apology at the end of the evening. They were timed tasks that engaged every member of the team and encouraged everyone to work with one another. When there were games that did not include every team member, Larry made sure the entire crowd was watching and enjoying it. It was great to see everyone have a great time while working with one another over simple yet fun tasks. He provided music for the event in between the team building games. We also recently rebranded our logo, so Larry printed 100 shirts for us on high quality fabric with a high quality screen printed logo that was color matched perfectly. To top it all off, Larry provided us with balloons throughout the entire venue. They do everything! Larry was extremely helpful up until the day of the event and reassured us constantly that everything would be perfect, and it was!
