Dr. Milgrim is the BEST ENT doctor I've ever had! He is incredibly kind, listens attentively, and actually works to fix his patients' concerns. To be seen, heard, and healed--it's truly an incredible experience. I've been treated by Dr. Milgrim in the past for a double ear infection and also had my allergy testing done here, and every experience has been top-tier. Recently, my dermatologist referred me for a second opinion regarding what was thought to be a "cyst" near the bridge of my nose. Turns out, it wasn't a cyst at all! Coming in for that second opinion was the best decision I could have made, and now we're actively working together to resolve this recurring issue. Many doctors don't take the time to fully hear you or take your concerns seriously--that is not the case here. Dr. Milgrim validated my concerns after my dermatologist had minimized them for so long. Do yourself a favour and DO NOT enter this place. Service is the worst, you will get no service to your purchase, and you will never get value for your money. I purchased eyeglasses a year ago, after 4 minths, the nose bridge broke, and since the, I visited the stor 8 times, each time, they said they do not have the nose bridge in stock and that they will order them for me. 6 times, they never have ordered the prodict, they never took note of the order, and in fact, they were just telling me what they will do, but never executedd. 8 months I am waiting for a simple order that costs $10. 2 weeks ago went again, they put in the order (no they did not), and yesterday I called to find out where the order is, the answer was "the owner said it will take another 2 weeks". This one receptionist on the first floor (optometrist & allergy testing) is NOT warm & friendly, made me feel like I was doing them a favor by being there. Dismissive. Woman who was before me agreed w/ me and said she was going to tell the doctor she's seeing about her. While waiting 30 mins now for my appt, I've seen 1 man & 1 woman get upset at their disorganized manner (man was waiting forever for his prescription... woman was told they didn't have her ID when they did & eventually admitted it). Hopefully the doctor/technician I see outweighs the impression I've been given thus far. **UPDATE** Oh it got worse. I was finally called by name and followed the technician into the exam room. While conducting the allergy test on me, he asked if I had been waiting a long time. I immediately said yes, I was waiting 40 mins. He was surprised and said he was never even told I was waiting for him!!! He just decided on his own to come out and see if I was there. He was awesome, so it stinks that I have to give this place a bad review, which is not a reflection of him at all. TO BE NOTED: The long front desk is shared by two departments. The allergy testing & optometrist department take up about 2/3 of the desk on the left side. That's where the above ill-mannered and ignorant receptionist sits. (She is not the Asian woman I've dealt with, who's way more receptive & skilled.) The audiology department has a small section all the way to the right, with only one girl to receive you when you arrive, and she's great. I understand that I have to be on time with my appointment because I know how this work since I work in the same type of office, but if I tell you I'm almost there and you tell me that the doctor already left without notifying me as the patient that the office will cancel or reschedule when the time of my appointment passed by, that's very unprofessional. I was put on at 4:45 and tried calling 5 times to inform the office that i'll be running late. I had to dial two different numbers a couple of times because as you see the other reviews that this office don't really pick up their phones. Now that I informed them i'll be there in 10 mins, the woman yelled at me that they already waited an hour so why would they wait 10 mins? I'm not sure how the woman computed that 4:55 call with 4:45 appointment became an hour? She put me on hold for 3 minutes and told me I have to reschedule and by the time our phone call ended as I told her to just cancel it, I literally just got off my uber in front of their office. If she was nice enough to speak to me over the phone I would have walked in the office and rescheduled it but if the rudeness is out of control, I would just rather give my business to another office. If acting as a professional office, they should have called and confirm with the appointment to the patient before "assuming" it's a no show or super late. I work in the same type of office so I know how it works. It's supposed to be an easy visit for me since I'm supposed to be a returning patient but they made it even harder for me and the more reason I am giving this office the lowest star ever. The doctor is amazing but the management is going to be below your expectations. I will start off my saying that I live within minutes of this office so the only reason I continue to come back to this awful office is when I need a quick appointment. Todays visit was not only for an eye check up but also to check about an eye condition. The specialist recommended a non prescribed regimen to follow which was No different than what the optometrist gave me last time I was here, I asked about my eye glass prescription and they performed a series of eye exams and sent me on my way. I can go on and on as to why my experience was poor but I don't want to waste any more of anyone's time. All I can say is that this is a place where young and inexperienced doctors fresh out of medical school come to get a job and then leave shortly after. The office is unprofessional and has the vibe of a low budget welfare office where they want to rush their patients in and out. The only positive thing I can say about this place are the very pleasant people who work in the eye glass shop at the front of the store. I will get my prescription somewhere else and gladly do business with the eye glass center. This has to be one of worst experience of an eye dr office! First who ever answers the phone doesn't even say she's going to transfer you didn't even fully finish saying what I had to say. Secondly when i was picking out my eyeglasses I felt rushed and was not shown a good variety of their glasses. This place is disorganized. I was here in November placed an order for some glasses and was told it would be shipped when received. I called before Christmas asking about my order to which I was told "sorry we didn't see the note about shipping, it will go out tomorrow". I called three times yesterday 1/3/24 about my glasses and was transferred except no one picked up and message was left. No one called me back even after leaving a message. No one could tell me where my order was and they would call me back. They did call me back after calling again. and they informed me the person responsible for shipping had covid. That's fine people get sick. Anyone could've kept communicating to ship orders out in a timely manner. Another possibility was shipping out late orders expeditiously upon arrival but apparently not in their operating practices. This was the closest experience I ever had to being on an assembly line! They had all these gadgets which were supposed to impress you as they moved you from room to room. The Dr. (when he finally made his appearance) was so abupt that if he spent over 2 minutes with me, that was a lot. And then he suggested a follow up visit (obviously to generate more $). An absolute NO! We stopped by the place yesterday with my husband- both in need for new glasses, with doctors script in hand & knowing that this place takes our insurance... The saleswoman was more than unpleasant & extremely pushy. We were told that we need to open up a whole lot of drawers (ourselves!) to check for frames we may like, because only a few "designer frames" were on display- but everything else was hidden in drawers... in the 2 minutes i tried to open up & look through those drawers, i was stopped & told to step away at least 5 times by other salespeople who needed to squeeze by... same salesperson that told us to go through the drawers, closed one almost slamming my husband's hand in it, saying- "these drawers are only for a very special insurance & we can't look there"... ?!... we both felt extremely uncomfortable.. what an unpleasant experience... I had a terrible experience at NJ Eye and Ear in Englewood. First, I went for a routine eye exam in February, at least that is what I requested. Some time later, I called them to get my prescription to give to the eye glass store where I was purchasing frames and was told that I had to come back in to get another exam because the exam that I had in February was not a routine exam but an exam for cataracts. This is nonsense. (Trying to get more money from my insurance company). Secondly, I went in to get my glasses which I purchased from them 2 years ago, adjusted. I was told that it would cost $5 to have them adjusted. I've never been charged before. I gave Thomas the $5 and he immediately put the bill in his pants pocket. How unprofessional. If you want to buy frames, buyer beware. They have a very creative way of breaking down the costs. Very vague and in their favor. I have never experienced anything like this before in all of my years of wearing glasses. Yes, they do have beautiful frames. However, research the costs of frames and comparison shop. Always answered my phone calls the first try, never had to wait. Upon walking in front desk staff was very nice and welcoming. The atmosphere was clean. Signed the paperwork and was in by my exact appointment time. The technician I think her name was (Amarylis?) was super sweet and calm, did all the testing needed before the doctor saw me. It was my first time here and I saw Dr. Oyeniran; she was also very sweet and gentle. She explained everything she was doing beforehand and at the end was patient and asked if I had any more questions. My appointment took less than an hour! Couldn't recommend enough. read more

I had brought my glasses in to get new lenses with a new prescription they said it will take 2 weeks to be done. After the 2 weeks they said my glasses were ready for pick up, I go to the store to pick them up and I put them on and my glasses were blurry. I asked the guy did you put my prescription in the glasses he says yes. i said well I cant see out of them, so they told me that your prescription had a huge jump and that maybe your eye doctor put the wrong prescription. They told me to go back to vision works. I had to make an appointment the next day and go during work. I go to visionworks showing them the difference in my prescription and what my current prescription is. They said since its been 6 months we cannot give you a new prescription for free because you used your insurance already so I will have to wait until next year. So they said I will have to come out of pocket, I told them im not doing that. I call my insurance company they said the same thing. Even the lady on the phone at the insurance company said to me maybe cause its been 6 months since your last exam your eyes have changed to thats why you can't see out the glasses. I was like huh, like I'm literally wearing glasses I have on from 3 years ago and I can see perfectly fine. So I'm thinking my eye doctor messed up on my prescription. So I call NJ eye & ear and tell them the situation and the women Myra on the phone tells me she will talk to Will who is her co worker to have him call me when he comes into work. Mind you this all happened November 1st and November 2nd. Later that day he still has not called me, I go to the store to speak to them about my glasses. The guy Will says he cant find my glasses and these are not no regular glasses they were Tom Fords that cost me $500, they don't sell these glasses at there place. So he ends up finding them, I told him can you just put the glasses back to normal put the regular lenses back in. He tells me they throw away the regular lenses. Why would you throw away the regular lenses. So now I'm like wtf, then come to find out they never put my prescription in the glasses that whole time. Then he proceeds to tell me were going to put the right prescription on them and its going to take a week. Mind you I gave Will the prescription my doctor gave me when I first went in there a month ago. Moral of the story they made me try on the glasses the day before, told me it was ready for pick up. Had me go all the way to visionworks on 17 in paramus mind you I dont even live in the area and I also had work. Just for them to tell me they never put my prescription in the glasses. So basically had me put on my glasses that never had the damn prescription in them. They literally said my glasses were ready for pick up and never did anything with them mind you I paid money for these to be done. They even said we're not giving any credit or refund for them. I believe they also have a cafe which is think is both cute and hilarious Unfortunately it's quite noisy in the waiting area as there is possible construction going on upstairs? not quite sure.. I was worried because some Yelp reviews complained about rude or unprofessional staff but that was not my experience at all. Everyone, from reception to the doctor and everyone my mom saw in between were incredibly kind and patient. My mom did struggle moving from room to room for each part of the eye exam, as she has some mobility issues (that might be an issue for some people as we needed to move 3 or 4 times) but the staff were nothing but helpful and sweet. I had the worst experience coming here. Signed in at the front desk and 5 min in, they tell me that they're having trouble accessing my insurance benefits. I expected this to resolve itself in the next couple of minutes, but instead, it takes almost 2 hours. At this point, I have to leave to go to work and reschedule my appointment. Once I came back, they tell me my copay is the same and so are the benefits for my contacts, but since they didn't schedule me enough time with the doctor to do a contact fitting, I could come in another time to get it done. Then I call to order my contacts the next week and they tell me that because my contact fitting was done at a different time than my eye exam, that I have to pay out of pocket for my exam and my contacts (which are selection for my insurance) are not covered for as much as they used to be, which is not what they told me before I came in for the appointment. I called insurance and they said that there's nothing they can do about their mistake. TL;DR Don't go here! You have to pay for their mistakes. To leave a review I had to leave one star, but this place is not even deserving of that. They took our payment in cash and of course about a year later we get a bill in the mail, in addition to what my insurance had also paid. No record of the cash payment made at the time of the consultation, and of course since so much time passed before they billed that we can't locate the receipt. Someone made out with my cash payment and now billing us again for the amount, straight fraud!!! Stay away from this place, they claim to be very modern but with an outdated payment system. The eye doctor, Dr. Patel and another eye doctor was really great. They took the time to evaluate everything. I just went for an eye exam and a dilation. I thought since it was new and in englewood, it would be good. Their hours was convenient for my work schedule so I tried it out and man was I wrong. The STAFF is the issue. The doctors was so nice to me. They fitted me for contacts and offer me some that I never tried before. I really like Dr. Patel, she is a great eye doctor and she deserves all the stars, its her staff who are incompetent and can't even do their job. This is the worse place to order any frame or glasses. Just go to Walmart. They are so overprice so basic lens and frames. And I ordered my glasses on 8th of March and it still haven't come yet. And every time I try to call these people are so nasty and they don't even want to help me. I will never come back here to order glasses. If you can save yourself some money and get frames from a place like Walmart that has a lot of choices to pick from and that are affordable. read more

The initial eye exam wasn't terrible and the doctor was nice, but the office was super packed and kind of felt like they were just interested in having as many patients as possible. The optical does have nice frames, but good luck trying to pick them up! I chose $400 frames on December 9th and it is now over a month later and no one has contacted me about my frames and NO ONE answers the phones. Instead, I continue to get a message that the mailbox is full. Not exactly a good way to do business! Especially when there are so many other optical places in town. I will just have to stop in person to get my frames, but it is a huge inconvenience not knowing if they are even ready and just hoping they are when I arrive. I hope I don't waste my time. Fairly new place, only a couple of months open, which may explian their disorganization and lack of communication to the patient. Excellent technology and fast service, however, doctor wrote everything on consul notes, and didn't really communicate all information required. Thankfully, I was given consultations notes, which stated the proper name of my diagnosis and further instructions. Otherwise, the doctor and her tech didn't bother stating it during the examination. Also, was referred to a specialist and they gave me no type of referral or even bother finding a specialist. They solely left it to the patient, something very uncommon in other practices. Very rude staff and incompetent - you pay for their mistakes - avoid at all costs.... I wish I could give 0 stars

I've been here on a few occasions and the wait time is almost unheard of. Once you get called back, they shuffle you between exam rooms and waiting rooms during your visits and you can easily spend upward of two hours in this facility for a traditional check-up. There are lots of staff in this facilitate (PAs, assistants, techs) but very few physicians. Essentially, they bring you back and the waiting game begins as the few doctors go from patient to patient. It's very much a rotating door practice. They also refer you to other specialists within the facility and "a-la-carte" just about everything. They repeat exams that another physician within the practice has already performed because it's a "different" doctor - regardless of whether or not the exam was performed DAYS before. It's incredibly frustrating to patron this facility and once my billing is finalized, even though the location is incredibly convenient, I will not return. read more
