I saw her in July and plan to see her again when I come in November. The new office is absolutely beautiful. This is a full-service Dentistry office. Dr Battula can do almost anything. And if it's not her specialty she will make sure she refers you to the best! Everything is top notch from the hygienist to the assistants, front desk, and billing. There is rarely a long wait, and if there is any anticipation of a wait time, the staff is honest and offers you an opportunity to grab a cup of coffee or shop the nearby stores in this cute area of town. He told me out of pocket it would cost me about $2000! Something was fishy about that. He didn't do any type of cleaning the day of the visit. Just sent me home with an upsale of a deep cleaning. I'm visiting my dad and I tell him about the con-artist dentist in SD. Also, I had a terrible gum sore at the time. My dad urges me to go to his own dentist, Dr. Ni. I'm skeptical due to my previous encounter in SD, but decide to give it a shot. Well, I get in there and Dr. Ni sees exactly what the issue is with my sore gums. He tells me to get some Anbesol and apply it daily. It should go away on it's own. It does within about 1 week. Then, I explain to Dr. Ni the news about the dentist in SD trying to pry $2000 out of me for a "deep cleaning". He and the dental hygenist look at me and go "what? that's crazy!". So, Dr. Ni pulls out his tools and starts cleaning my teeth on the spot. During the cleaning he actually says "this is a deep cleaning by the way". I felt very comfortable and appreciative because I realized at that time, I was in good hands with a dentist who actually cared about the patient and not about lining his own pockets. The cleaning he did was a "deep cleaning", but really felt like a standard cleaning. He did an outstanding job either way. The cleaning was covered by my insurance (Aetna), so I didn't pay anything for it. I loved my visit with Dr. Ni and if I lived closer, I'd be in there at least once a year for my check ups and cleanings.

I was offered to schedule another appointment with a different provider. I asked why was I not informed of the wait on arrival and was told this provider always runs late. I asked if the office manager could call me to discuss and another woman spoke up and said "I'm the office manager and there is nothing I can do." She went on to share that she informed the providers supervisor of the slowness and nothing ever gets addressed. I asked the "office manager" if she ever thought to consider the COURTESY of Informing patients on arrival of the wait or spacing the providers appointments out further to avoid the wait and she responded that there was not anything she could do. It's seems this practice is not concerned about their patients time or proactively trying to solve a problem known to the practice. It's easier, I guess for them rearrange the seats on the titanic as it sinks as opposed to looking for a life raft. Save yourself some time a find another dental practice.

She is just using the fact that I was late for previous appointments to kick me out of her practice, so she does not have to fix the bridge that she messed up. As far as the police go, I spoke to the officer he told me nothing in my texts were harassing and he informed her of this. He just told me since she didn't want me at the practice I should not go back. He did tell me I was free to continue follow up conversations as long as they remained professional. This doctor has a habit kicking people out of the practice when they are not happy, cutting off communication, etc. Please read the other negative reviews you will see a pattern. She is very rude, treats her staff poorly, and thinks she is always right !!

I was surprisingly able to go eat food after which I didn't think would be possible. I've been told that the roots of my wisdom teeth are crazy and near nerves.
