6-7-21 Had cataract surgery - different doctor and location…read more After 3 weeks of treatment to fix a problem with the surgery, Dr. Reisman identified my problem quickly, notified and arranged for the surgeon that did the original surgery to immediately, correct the problem. I could have lost sight in that eye except for Dr Reisman seeing me right away without an appointment. Dr Reisman is an outstanding, competent, capable and trustworthy physician. Those who wait for a time past their appointment may experience that because Dr. Reisman is helping someone like myself. If I must wait past my appointment time I will remember whenI needed and received emergency help. Also, the office is clean, bright, well organized and all people there are friendly. She is the most knowledgeable and friendly Eye Care Physician that I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. She spent quite a long time discussing the total health and well being of my eyes. I'm contemplating the possibility of getting the laser eye surgical procedure. She discussed with me, what my options would be and whether or not I was a candidate for lasik. I had initially gone elsewhere based on an advertisement that I had seen on tv. I was told by this other doctor that I was not a candidate for Lasik and I was very disappointed to hear that because I needed some sort of correction badly. I had gotten home and decided before I give up to get a second opinion. I chose Dr. Benedetto's office at random and it turned out to be an excellent choice. I should also note that I had my heart set on doing the surgery in Ecuador where I have another home and had a trustworthy doctor that could have done it for $1700. However, because the eyes are so vital and doctors in the US follow stricter guidelines, have better equipment, cleaner facilities, and are accountable to their patients, I came to my senses and realized that my eyes are too vital to take a chance with so I came to the realization that even though it cost more than double that amount it was a much smarter choice. So if you're thinking of getting some discount surgery in latin America, you should probably think long and hard on it. Anyways, I explained to them that this other doctor said I was not a good candidate and asked what they thought. They ran a number of tests on me that day and said things look good but that I should come back and do these tests again next week just to confirm. They spent ALOT of time examining me and it was beyond clear that they weren't about to tell me what I wanted to hear just to get some money out of me. I am very confident that they have my best interests at heart and are very honest people. It was at that point that I knew this was the place for me. In regards to the office, it is new, inviting, appealing to the eye, and the staff are very friendly. The Lasik equipment they use, I had come to learn, is the newest technology available and fully bladeless. The surgery was quick and painless. I had a little more discomfort than most people get on the evening of my surgery but in the morning I was as fresh as a daisy. Even though all of the warnings and literature state that many people get a "foreign object sensation" in the eye and frequent dryness or some other symptoms, I did not and still do not experience any of that whatsoever. To wrap it up, I am very happy with my decision to go with Dr. Benedetto and cannot think of a single bad thing to say about these folks.

let me preface this by saying we gave this man MULTIPLE chances, we kept coming back because he is…read moresupposed to be the best, but instead we were met with aggression, talked down to, insulted, and a disregard for consent (or the retraction of it!!!). if negative stars were possible i'd give them. after visiting this office 2x a month for almost a year, at least half of those visits were met with poor service. if you are a person looking to be involved in your treatment or advocate for yourself or another patient this is NOT the doctor for you. the level of unprofessionalism is beyond disappointing. not only will you be waiting 1-2 hours past your SCHEDULED appointment time, but there were roughly 4-6 people in the waiting room while each room has a patient. Dr. Ronald Sachs is rude, impatient, void of compassion, and so disrespectful to his patients AND staff! when asked to remove an object that IS OPTIONAL (and has been left out before) he refused and proceeded to hold her head and attempt to inject her eye anyway. she had to block him from continuing and then he RIPPED OUT the METAL CLIP in her eye (scraping her inner corner and top eyelid) and proceeded to accuse her of lying that he caused her pain. i'd like to add this is not the first time he's ignored the retraction of consent and behaved with no compassion or kindness. i genuinely pray for anyone else that visits this office to have a better experience because this was awful. remember to always check reviews, if we had maybe we could've avoided these terrible experiences.
