Old hickory is nothing but a scam and the contractors that work for them are just as bad we bought…read morea custom building back in 2024 they lied to us about the building being ready and then 4 weeks later they delivered it and didn't even level it they dropped it off the trailer and the driver told me that they don't level them and drove off and damaged the building and then sent a 1/2 ass repair man out and made the damage worse and then it started leaking and he got more of the silicon on the siding then in the gap i went as far as i could up their corporate chain and it still took 7 months for them to come out and level it like the contract says they do and they sent the guy that delivered it back out and took him a day and still didn't level it so they sent another guy out that got it level and they decided it needed repainted because of all the damage that was done and they painted it but had to come back out to finish 3 months later and then they do a 1/2 ass job repainting it and dripping paint all over and smearing it all over and then paints the door hinges and then leaves 1/2 the trim still unpainted and i finely got fed up with his attuited and told him to get off my property and called the corporate guy iv been dealing with and yes i get hot headed and blew and told them I'm getting a lawyer i just want this thing gone and my money back

We closed the widow in the fall and this year we haven't been able to open it. We called and left messages and were informed to see if it was covered under the warranty. To me this is just bad for business. A company that only cares about selling and not customer satisfaction. Next we move on to the building itself. The door is not aligned. Off center. They put screws through the ceiling exposed so you best be careful that you don't cut yourself. I give this company a ZERO. Cheap materials, inexperienced salesman.

Shopping there is pretty quick because the minute you walk in, someone is there to help you find what you need. This is good because, for a smallish store - it has a lot packed into it. This place is well stocked and very organized, and the staff extremely nice and helpful! My favorite part had to be the nursery though! When I walked out there butterfly's were flying around! It's a family owned business and that means a lot to me. Everywhere you have these big box stores moving in and putting places like this out of business, so it was so nice to see the staff interact with customers they have known and helped for years. I had acquired some metal chairs for free through Craig's list. It was suggested by a local fence…read moreand security company to go to Ned's to find what I needed to repair the rusted legs on these chairs. I walked in and was greeted right away. Told the guy what I was looking for, I had the chairs with me so he could see exactly what I was trying to do. He looked at the chairs, took measurements and we went back in the store in search to get me what I needed for this project I wanted to do. Now, I was probably not needing steel to repair these legs but, hey I got these chairs for free and didn't want to spend too much time trying to find something that would match perfectly and they had been rusted out so I was looking for a fix more permanent. After having the right size found and cut I was looking forward to this project. Now, let me tell you why this place got 4 stars vs 5. As I go to the steel yard to get my steel I hand I was approached by a guy on forklift, hand the guy the paper, he looks at it and tells me to go to the back corner and wait. I get there and in a few minutes he cuts the first pieces, perfect. The second piece is a round piece...he cuts a square piece. I tell him that's not what I need, I don't need a square I need round. He tells me that the paper didn't have round on it. I looked and nope it didn't say square nor did it say round. So, he then looks for the right size round piece. A few min go by and here he comes on a fork lift with a 20 ft piece. Ok, cuts me my small piece and I check for size to make sure it fits the leg and it fits. I say thank you and I'm heading out. When heading out, there's a sign that says stop here to check out. There's a truck in front of me so I wait, the guy grabs his paper and waves him through. I get up there and the guy to check me out is now on the phone....I wait and he notices me but, keeps talking...I wait. A girl walks up and I go to hand her the paper, she yells to the guy on the phone, he seems agitated and tells her something and she's confused, and tells me, I don't know what he's doing...so, I tell her here's the paper for my metal, she yelled back to the guy on the phones and he yells back agitated at her and waves to her and tells her to let me go through. So, the customer service was good on the inside, friendly and helpful when you go in but, could of been more helpful to write round pice for the guy in the metal yard, and they need to work on customer service while heading out. Have lots of metal choices, and well as other things for a lot of uses or ideas,

Or if you just want to go in and look around to see what they got it's likely you will find something you need or just want! Never had a bad experience here. I like that it's run by family and all of them from the country! They know what it means to work and what it takes to get a good done!
