Why not just go out and get some toilet paper? There is plenty of toilet paper at many stores nearby. I was left with one square. Not enough to have a hygienic return from the bathroom. I suggest good hygiene at a gym is more important than getting the cheapest ass possible toilet paper that you possibly can that you have to wait to get from some store far away. If you go to the trouble to make up a sign that you tape in the women's bathroom, this suggest you don't really plan to change

Having Noel as a personal trainer has improved my strength and comfortability in the gym. With his guidance and support I have been able to do more physically now than I could in the months before restarting again. He is patient, funny, and passionate about getting you where you want to be. The gym itself is unique: Mr. Pickles the security guard, The resident Kitties Lestat, Luis, and Nugget along with some fur gym regulars ( see photos!). This is the only gym I've been able to enjoy a good pump, great music selection, and fur friends that cheer you on in their adorable ways! Inquire with Noel if your fur baby can join your session! Happy sweating, longevity, and hydrations to you and yours!

Inside, the gym regularly smells like sewage, and it's impossible to ignore. Even worse is the vibe. The owner's behavior is uncomfortable to witness. He openly leers at female members and makes the space feel unprofessional and awkward. Dirty, sketchy location, bad atmosphere. Plenty of better gyms in Portland. Skip this one.

I like this 24hhr location, but there are some concerning issues that need to be addressed. First,…read morethe cleanliness of the gym, particularly the flooring in and around the equipment - desperately needs to cleaned. If you glance down from the machine you're using, you'll see what looks to be several month's worth of sweat, body dander and whatever else drops off people's bodies when they workout. Whoever is cleaning the floors, appear to be skipping over these areas and the amount of buildup is disgusting. 24HR Gresham - if you're reading this, please clean these areas of the floor as well! Second concern, and I'm sure it's not unique to 24HR Fitness but way there are too many people working out that on their phones, often sitting or standing by a machine, scrolling for several minutes on their phone, preventing anyone else from using the equipment. I have on more than one occasion, asked the person if I could work in or use it, but recently one person on their phone defiantly said they still have a couple sets left. There's gym etiquette and there's phone etiquette, and for the most part the majority of gym goers understand that we're all sharing the same space and equipment. We all like to spend time on our phones nowadays, but please, not at the expense of someone else's time.

I've been going to this gym for about a month now and was hoping my experience would be different…read morethan others. Unfortunately not the case. The equipment here feels old. A couple of machines have been broken since before I joined and still are after a month and a half. For me it's the cleanliness. The floors are always very dirty (dust, debris, etc) both in the locker room and the workout areas. This is somewhat surprising as I see cleaners working every time I'm there. The paper towel dispensers are often empty or broken. The spray bottles, while full, often struggle to spray. I mainly go to use the pool. The pool area itself seems cleaner and the pool looks to be clean as well. I haven't used the sauna, steam room, studio, basketball court, or spin studio; but as I've peaked in to a few of them, they appear to be clean and in good condition. I will keep coming here out of proximity for pool use, but wouldn't if not for that.

This is real custom training, not one-size-fits-all workouts. Christian designs creative, personalized programs that support my weight loss goals while being mindful of my scoliosis and an injured knee. What really sets him apart is his focus and intention. He's fully present during every session and never distracted--his attention is always on me, my form, and my progress. Each workout builds on the last and is adjusted based on how I'm progressing and how my body is feeling. He challenges me in a smart, safe way and always has alternatives ready when needed. It's clear he's extremely knowledgeable and genuinely cares about my long-term success. On top of that, he's so much fun to work with, and the music and lighting create an energizing atmosphere that makes every workout enjoyable. I always leave feeling stronger and supported. Highly recommend!

He pays attention to what both of us need individually instead of forcing us to do the same thing or go at the same pace. The workouts feel thoughtful and tailored, and I appreciate that he'll adjust things on the fly if something doesn't feel right or if we're having an off day. The space is clean, comfortable, and not intimidating. It feels like you can just show up as you are. I can also change the lights or the music to customize the space. It's a little far for us but definitely worth the drive. Free parking on site too. Overall, training together has been fun for us as a couple, and we leave feeling challenged in a good way instead of wiped out or discouraged. Highly recommend checking this place out if you want a supportive studio without the ego vibe.
