Thankfully Brey was available and extremely helpful and assisted me through the whole booking process, it felt like I was working with a dear friend the whole time. I've never booked a professional photographer for an event before so I was bit nervous about the whole thing but she made me feel so comfortable and taken care of in the weeks prior and on the day. She arrived to the city hall location early and was ready to take photos right away, she caught great images of our small group of guests arriving, small moments here and there and wonderful portrait shots of both me, my husband and the whole group together at the ceremony, later at a local park and then at our small reception dinner. She didn't mind driving around the the city a bit to our 3 different locations and kept a positive and friendly attitude the whole time. The images she took of us as a couple are just amazing. We look so happy and in love, she made us feel so at ease the whole time. I can't wait to share the memories for years to come and with our friends and family who couldn't attend. She's very aware of the types of poses required for a great looking wedding album. I just received the images yesterday, earlier than expected and I'm just blown away by how good we all look! She provided all of the information about cost, format, etc beforehand with examples of prior photos; discussed background options,etc. The photo session was in her studio where you could easily access the outdoors and have inside photo sessions. We met up for consultations before and after booking, were able to share what we wanted to focus on for our wedding, and set up an itinerary for the day of so that everything could run smoothly. In terms of her wedding package, she brought forth her experience on special locations near our ceremony so we could shoot the first look, and comfortably captured our day throughout many different settings--early morning light outside amidst greenery, inside a low-light church for the ceremony, under artificial ballroom lighting for the reception buffet, as well as bright afternoon sunlight under a gazebo. ALL the photos came out beautifully. Despite the early start and long drive, she was cheerful and offered helpful suggestions for posing our wedding party and family members. The results? Our wedding photos were dreamy, tastefully edited post-production, with focuses on specific touches and aspects that were important to us. Our guests and special family friends that flew out from different states were what my husband and I wanted to highlight, and so her husband steadily collected all those moments while Vindy took on capturing the bridal party. Even after a year, I noticed how she photoshopped the EXIT sign out of the entry aisle of the church to omit any glaring distractions from when I walked down the aisle with my father. My friends used our photos from her online gallery to use for their personal family cards and Christmas updates, as she managed to capture adorable moments of our flower girl and ring boy.
