From the moment we toured Teaching Tree we knew this was the perfect daycare for us. Both of our boys go here now and I cannot recommend this place enough. The amenities (all organic dye free food provided, yoga, Spanish, along with diapers and wipes) and staff are the best in the area in my opinion, parents night out is an amazing bonus! They feed my kids. They even took my sons to school for a few years. I love the staff. The building is always clean and neat. No complaints. Nice people running a great little business. I spoke to the director about the cell phone issue and nothing was done. I then spoke to the owner, Fay Ahmad, and her response was that it was out of her hands. She's no different than the staff she's hired, doesn't care about the children in her building, but wants to be on her cell phone at all times. I pulled my 18 month year old son and will not return. I would not suggest this center to anyone.

Phones are off limits but teachers use laptops to text A teacher was asking 3 girls in her class if they thought her boyfriend was cute and mentioning she had a crush on him etc -not appropriate in my opinion for 4 year olds School Age'd children are kept together in the summer -1st-6th grade I feel this is a huge age gap and could be inappropriate as the class size is large (18) Vicki was praying parents would get there to pickup their kids Friday as she said she was "miserable and over these kids" Constant yelling It's just not a great place, unfortunately There are teachers who are amazing and stand out but that's standard that shouldn't be surprising At a school, you want the best people who will love your kids and help them navigate childhood But the bad ones ruin it for them and the administration took my concerns and fired me without discussion Didn't ask for more info on the abuse etc. this is scary

I just saw the most heartwarming thing when I dropped my son off in the 4s class today. The teacher…read morewas sitting in the "cozy corner" helping a little guy calm himself down. She was so gentle with him. The classmates were all happy and playing in other areas in their stations. I work in mental health, and this shows me that when a child is struggling here, this school doesn't make a spectacle or shame them. Learning to calm down and regulate is totally normalized. This makes my mama heart so happy. Dropping off your kids to be with other people all day isn't easy, but seeing this loving kindness and support at KLC makes me feel really confident in my decision to have my kids here.

This is NOT a learning center the only thing they want to do is put your child in a high chair for the slightest incident. Teachers on cell phones and not paying attention to the children at all.
