This means some children become left unattended for hours. This isn't a temporary problem, it is a repeating pattern showing a clear inability to manage the facility. Some of the teachers are lovely and do a great job of caring for the children. But the upper management is pure degeneracy and interferes with the teacher's abilities to do their job. It is a shame that a few people can cause such a downfall in the care that the facility provides the children. There is no shortage of childcare in the area, please look in a different direction if you are considering childcare.

Enrolling him was one of the best things we could have done for him. He is neurodivergent, and the teachers and school staff have worked closely and thoughtfully with us to ensure that his needs are met and that he continues to grow and learn. He has spectacular social skills, and is particularly sensitive to, and encouraging of, students who are younger than him. We are confident that when the time comes for him to make a transition, he will have a solid foundation, both in terms of academics, and socially. They foster leadership skills, public speaking skills, empathy, creativity, inclusion, and an appreciation of the outdoors. The ratio of teachers to students is always good and the teachers have great skill at interacting with the children and keeping them engaged. My daughter is 19 months and speaks full sentences knows her colors and can count. They sing dance read books and play. They learn about nature. Play pretend, make arts and crafts and learn how to share. They get playtime outside everyday pending the weather and you don't have to worry about your child getting muddy because they have astroturf. My child stands out compared to other kids her age as her skills are developed well beyond her age because she goes to school full time. I'm so happy.

Oyster Babies was caring and understanding. My daughter had been home with me up until she started there and they were sensitive to her needs and didn't push her to socialize but also didn't ignore her. When they became concerned with some of her behavior they met with me right away and were of great assistance getting her a full special education work up through Mill Neck Manor. They are a little expensive but they offer early and late care as well as flexible days. When I first put my daughter in school there I was working retail so I needed to have a sort off odd schedule and they were more than accommodating. The other wonderful thing is that food and all activities are included in their weekly/monthly fee. They serve breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack. All the food is tasty and they serve a variety of different things. The center director is there almost all the time along with the assistant director. They are both wonderful people and will help with parenting problems and unique family situations. My daughter is really happy there and has loved all of the teachers she has been I contact with. The center strives for a home feeling in a school environment so all the different teachers are familiar with all the students and can call them and usually their parents by name which really makes everything seem more homey and friendly. They are definitely worth considering. We couldn't be happier unless they were cheaper. Haha
