When I originally came I was quite confused on what to expect. I will say I had an amazing night, the environment was fun and full of entertainment. The food was delicious and very fresh, while the drink options were beyond my expectations! What I found odd is that I thought the expectations for the dress was formal and not fully black tie, yet I saw a few people wearing jeans. My friend won tickets to this event so I got to attend as a guest. There was a nice array of vendors present and I was surprised by the large number of tables for alcohol, my favorite being FTB (From The Bar). There was a lot to see and lots of yummy things to try. It was a fun change getting to dress up as well. read more

First time attending this event It was fun sampling food but food taste wise it wasn't at five stars. Maybe four and a half? I'm giving five stars because I thought it was a great event. read more

This is a great event and I think that it is wildly underrated. The people need to know about this very cool event. I would liken it to Museum by Moonlight but better food and better drink. The price point is about the same but the restruants that get involved with the event are higher end and the booze is free. The really special part is that you get to see the garden and flower displays before the Garden and Patio show opens up to the public. One thing I have noticed is that when you got to the Garden and Patio show the flower and deck displays kind of get lost between all of the vendors. This event really allows you to see the displays in full effect and let me tell you, they are SUPER impressive. Plus they make really amazing backdrops for pictures :) The crowd for this event is a bit different from some of the other similar events downtown and I wish this was a more popular event because I think it is really amazing and supports an amazing cause that helps individuals with disabilities. Some of the individual that they have helped over the years were at the event working the booths and that really brings it full circle and is proof of the good they are doing with your donations. I am really hopeful that as this event continues it lights on fire and spreads throughout the city. Would love to more people at this event so that it can help more people. read more

From the silent auction with fabulous things to bid on, to live music, the psychics, the magicians, the photo booth, and all the delicious food samplings! What an incredibly beautiful evening! I was blown away from the moment I walked in. Everything for this event was so well thought out and organized. This was a really fun event! I won tickets to attend and had no expectations but was pleasantly surprised at how fun it was! It was the 23rd year and the Food and Bev list was of the charts so I had an idea it would be well attended but thought it might be stuffy at $100/ ticket. I was very wrong! The music (and drinks) had everyone smiling and laughing and having a great time. The venue was perfect. Having all of the beautiful landscaping and seating for people to stop and mingle was lovely. I got lots of inspiration for my flower beds this year! When you decide what to wear keep in mind that there are bridges and stone pavers. I saw a lot of women struggling with their high heels. Being cash for quick parking and to tip for coat check and other services like characature drawings and fortune telling. read more

They do great work here, and have so much community support. We came to visit on a class trip and learn more about different healthcare careers. They have a wide range of offered services, from giving advice to actual therapies to employment opportunity help. All the people here seemed very happy, and the workers are very passionate about their jobs. They also function as an advocacy group. If you want to get involved you can sign up for their newsletter, and find out more about their events etc. I think this is a great place for persons with disabilities to develop independence and learn life skills in a safe environment. read more

A fun evening out for a good cause! Great food, great atmosphere, great fun! It's always fun to dress up with friends just make sure you bring cash for tipping at things like coat check, caricatures, and fortune telling! A great event every year to attend. Plenty of food and drinks that are included in the price of the event with multiple music areas to listen to during the event. I would say that you need to come at the beginning of the event because later in the evening some of the food locations can run out of things. An I would also say maybe just walk to the end seeing what you would like to try as you walk back through because there are so many food options you might be full by the time you get to the end. Also because it is a straight line to the end and back a lot of people will come in and start there and no body has went to the back and worked backwards you won't have as many people around to try everything. read more

This was an amazing event! Not only did the proceeds go to a very important organization but the night was full of magic! Walking through candle lit gardens over stone bridges while the air is filled with the sounds of local artists while sipping on a glass of wine. This is a night I won't forget. The maze of gardens was lined with a scavenger hunt of my favorite restaurants that filled my soul. My fiance and I ended the night supporting a great cause, a happy belly and an unforgettable memory. read more

I love this event. It has a great environment and I love getting to check out the large, unique silent auction. I like the fact that they include so much art work. I bid a quite a few items and was extremely excited to be able to take home an awesome mixed media piece that is now hanging on my living room wall. Also, being able to tour portions of the flower and patio show makes for a gorgeous backdrop to this wonderful event. read more
