Was heading to Northern Virginia on Tuesday. Monday afternoon I was having my Jeep serviced and they notice a screw embedded in one of the front tires. Because of the size and location of the screw they couldn't repair the tire and also noted that I should buy a pair, if not four new tires. Auto repair folks suggested Nock's. Call Nock's up and they didn't have tire the size I needed, but said they could order them and have them by Monday afternoon. Dropped the Jeep off at noon and good to their word, they had installed all four tires by the time I picked the car up at 5:00 pm. Impressive performance. Will use them again read more

Our Jeep was acting up with seemingly unrelated electrical hiccups, then the AC went out and the engine temperature climbed to the red zone. We limped into Nock's Tire Pro and hoped we might get some help or be directed to a full-service auto shop. The Nock's folks looked at the car immediately and found the water pump was broken. They quickly gave us a range in estimate for repair, depending on any unseen damage. We called at 10 am the next morning, hoping for more information and an estimate of when the Jeep might be repaired. They told us the car was ready. They had received the parts and the mechanic had stayed late the night before and completed the repairs. The cost came it at the lowest end of the estimate. The entire crew was terrific. Noke's saved our Eastern Shore weekend trip. And to top it off, a few days later we received a thank you note from Noke's. They are the folks deserving a great shout out. read more

I take all of my tire changes, rotations, and alignments to Nock's. Much lower in price than taking it to a dealership and they actually know what they are doing. Also makes it convenient that they have a Jiffy Lube on site for my oil changes. An oil change isn't something I think about when I go for my tire service, but since was there...I have taken advantage of their service. My only issue would be on appointment times. My time is extremely valuable to me and when I make an appointment, I arrive 15 minutes early and expect my vehicle to be worked on around the time we've set. The last couple of times I have brought my vehicle, I've sat in the waiting room in view of my car and they didn't even move it for the first hour I was there. But the service is spot on and price is reasonable. I will return to them in the future and recommend others do the same. read more

Don't let name fool you. They may have great tire deals, but as a repair shop they are the best. From the first phone call till I picked up my car the people at Knock's Tire Service we polite, professional and honest. They diagnosed the problem correctly and saved me as much as they could on the repair. The price they quoted was reasonable and the work was expert. I wouldn't hesitate to go back them for any repairs that may arise. I'm thinking they may be the first place I go when I need a set of tires also. read more

I initially gave Nocks a low rating because they charged me for parts and labor when identifying and fixing a problem in my car that they inadvertently caused by installing wrong type of oil filter. My car is a 2005 Honda CRV LX that goes into limp home mode when a non-brand filter is used, something that I and Nocks did not know through no fault of our own. When I posted my low rating and the explanation behind it online, I promptly received a call from their general manager Chuck Barnes who politely asked me to come in so that he could help fix the situation. When I arrived, he apologized for me being charged by mistake, the employee who billed me was out of the loop and didn't get the heads up to comp my bill and the towing fee I had from having my car towed 70 miles home after it went into limp mode. Chuck was very professional, took the time to explain what happened, took responsibility for it, and really went to extra mile to win me back as a customer.
