I came in today to Tim Hortons on a whim, I decided I needed hot chocolate. When I walked in and I…read morecould hear the manager of the shift loudly talking about new rules for staff regarding what you get free and what you don't get per shift and how others were making themselves iced coffees freely and so on, I thought oh. She's really mad. The drive through attendant was having a question about her customer and what comes with what meal because the customer wanted a substitution - and what key should be pressed to give the correct price. This was when the shift manager, Who is taking care of me kept repeating to her drive-through attendant that she is with a customer at the counter, so the others were chiding in and the manager got a little heated about it. Then the cook, or maybe the sandwich assembly guy started arguing with her, then he called the drive-through attendant stupid, and made various complaints about how ridiculous it is. I found this to be offensive because it was like I wasn't there at all. The manager stepped away from me- had heated words with the sandwich guy -she told him twice to cash me out. He came , sweaty and angry , took my payment and walked away not handing me my receipt or saying thanks. I ripped my own receipt off the register and left. Poor girl on drive through, she's just trying to learn and do her job and get paid. I feel sorry for her that she works in such a terrible environment. Won't be stopping again. Ever.
