It took away from the experience, along with the water barely at lukewarm after telling him twice it wasn't hot. The location itself is nice. It started to get busier halfway through my service, and I noticed others getting drinks. The man at the front passed around tea, which I took. Had Alex or someone asked me if I wanted a drink, I likely would've purchased wine. Going to shop around for another place since my primary spot closed.

I was slightly disappointed as I was actually booked for an hour massage (I know, I shouldn't be complaining!) but it was more than I had planned to spend and therefore I was not prepared with a better tip for my massage therapist. I wish I was aware of that prior to going into the session. The receptionist was not very friendly and spoke softly so she was hard to understand. It may have been her first day because she was working with another person, but I feel that she could have verified what my appointment was so that I could have confirmed prior to me getting the hour massage and thereby having to pay for the full service. Nevertheless, I was still satisfied with my service. I had Linda as my massage therapist. Initially I was worried because I'm about 5'10" and she is about 5' and I was wondering if she would be able to use enough pressure but she did not disappoint!!! I was very disappointed especially since she was the one who set the appointment and I changed some things around in my day just to have her do my nails. When I expressed that I had an appointment, I was told I couldn't force her to take care of me. I wasn't forcing anyone but was looking for an answer because she was the one who suggested the day and time for my appointment. She didn't even apologize and would barely look at me. Very bad business practice.

My builder gel fill was done in 25 minutes (the salon I went to before I moved to Buffalo took minimum 1 hour and looked immaculate). They don't prep your nails well and don't touch your cuticles. I had to ask for cuticle oil because my nails still looked so dry, like I had them done for a week. My pedicure was also very rushed and had a poor paint job. I was in the salon for not even an hour for two services which seems insane not only for the cost but the customer experience. It seems like they're just trying to churn customers vs actually giving you their full attention and being attentive to detail.

Before she had even sat me down, I asked her if this is something she could do. She said "yes, I can do that". I came in for a fill-in and color change. She filed my nails, but I noticed she didn't ask me what shape I wanted or if I wanted my nails filed down. She did ask me how many colors I wanted my nails. I said "5". She said "how many colors?" I said"it's a different color each finger, so 5?" She said "too many colors" I said, "oh okay, 3?" And she didn't respond. My sister came over to check on how my nails were. I showed her the picture I wanted and she said it's cute. The nail tech said "too many colors" to which my sister said "it's not too many" to which the nail tech didn't reply. She told my sister to go grab the neon nail display and bring it over. Didn't ask her - told her to do it. The nail tech told me to pick from there. I was thinking "great this is exactly the colors I wanted". So I picked 3 because I thought that's what we had agreed on. She asked how many and I told her. She said "too many, pick 2" I was like "....um okay" and picked 2. She walks away, comes back with a basket of the detail nail polishes. She tells me to pick from there. I said "I want neon colors." These colors were purples, reds, whites, etc. not what I was wanting. She said "it's a design so it needs to be one of these" I replied, "I thought I was picking from this neon display you told me to pick from" she sighed and asked what colors I picked the two and she walked away. Finished the job, I paid $60 and gave her a 20% tip. After leaving, I started noticing that my old yellow polish is still on my nails. They're different shapes, the French tip is messy. Less than a week later, my nails started lifting. I can usually make my nails last an entire month!! Less than a week is insane. I tried gluing a few back on but it was a waste. Incredibly disappointed and will not be returning.
