A Heartbreaking Experience with Mountain Sound DJ…read more We had high hopes for an unforgettable wedding celebration, but unfortunately, our experience with Mountain Sound DJ was a complete letdown. We chose this company based on our prior discussions and a clear agreement that Dakota, our selected DJ, would be the one to lead our dance party. However, shortly before the event, we learned that another DJ would be taking over. Dakota reassured us he would still be present throughout the night, so we had no choice but to trust him. To our dismay, Dakota left after cocktail hour, abandoning us with Michael, the replacement DJ, who was unfortunately not the right fit for our celebration. Despite providing a carefully curated playlist that the bride had spent 10 months preparing, Michael chose to disregard our preferences and played his own songs in his own order. He began the evening with slow songs, which caused the dance floor to empty within 20 minutes. Our guests felt compelled to leave the celebration, and many did not return. In an attempt to salvage the evening, we sought advice from our wedding planner, who was there to support us. However, she informed us that it was too late to turn things around. The spirit of the party had been irreparably damaged. Dakota's failure to adhere to our agreement resulted in a loss of trust and ultimately crushed our long-awaited celebration. Our wedding had been carefully planned for an entire year to ensure an enjoyable and memorable experience, but instead, we faced a disappointing reality. If there is one lesson to take away from our experience, it's the importance of having a reliable DJ at your event. Unfortunately, our dreams of a joyous celebration were shattered, and we were left with a sense of humiliation. If you take one thing from this review let it be this... you were warned.

There are so many little things that come with planning that I was unaware of. I have no idea how some people manage to do it without help. Fortunately, I didn't have to do it alone. Without Jessica and her amazing team at Pro Chic Events, I would have been completely and utterly screwed! She was a life saver of sorts for me. She was my wedding saver! She helped organize all of our vendors, establish a detailed timeline for the big day, designed all of our wedding flowers, and gave me a peace of mind that I never could have found without her help - (although, these things are really just the tip of the iceberg).
