First Time visited Federico and Noi Salon in Rome and feel so happy of the experience. I am blond colored and had always concerns to visit any new stylist after many years of being with the same master. I also had several experiences with coloring not only in Moscow where my stylist works but in other places due to continuous business trips (e.g. Paris, Istanbul, Munich). I must say, in all cases I took a risk to go with worst expectations, e.g. color or haircut will not fit... and really in Paris it was too blond, in Istanbul too short, in Munich too simple. Federico did really a great job! First, I had some basis before (mixture of highlights and color) and dark routes. This was well covered and combined with highlights by Federico as well as the color was very natural. Second, the haircut was slightly modulated (I have the length till shoulders) but the shape was changed to softer and lighter than before. Third, overall look was much more lively than very-very natural! And in general, it was very pleasant time spent in this place: nice chat in good English, amazing coffee and professional work by Federico (I saw at least 3 more other clients happy while I was there considering that he was alone in busy new year prep-days). After a couple of weeks of salt water and chlorine my bleach blonde hair was looking tired and fried! Walking around the fashionable streets of Rome I kept coming across the latest ad campaign for Louis Vuitton featuring Michelle Williams with the most amazing pixie cut. I lamented on how I wished I could have the same style so I did a bit of a search on the best salons in Rome and came up with Noi - boy am I glad I did. The English flows freely (the owners are from LA) and the minute you walk in you feel at ease - you just know you won't be disappointed... And I was not. My appointment was with Rick who rather than tell me what we couldn't do with my hair set about telling me how we could achieve the style and gave me input into the whole process. The result was amazing and exactly what I wanted. Felt just like Audrey Hepburn in a Roman Holiday. Seriously the best cut I have ever had. If you have a chance to visit the wonderful city of Rome you simply must book an appointment here. You will not be disappointed. The salon it's self was a little hard to find. It's tucked away in a court yard between two restraints. Walk to the end of the court yard and look to the right. There you will find the hidden little gem. read more

I was in Rome about a month ago and really needed a haircut and touchup to my ombré colour. My Italian vocabulary is very limited so instead of "just a trim" getting lost in translation, I searched Google for an english-speaking salon. Noi was a top hit and has very good reviews on Yelp. The booking process was as simple as filling out a form on their website and they responded with an appointment for the following day promptly via email. I was greeted as if I were a regular patron, everyone was so nice and welcoming. Trish was my hair stylist and did an amazing job with my hair, explaining what she was doing along the way and how to care for it. She was so personable and told me things about Rome only locals would know. I wish I could transport her to Toronto to see her regularly but I guess that means I'll just have to go back to Rome next time I need my hair done.... aw shucks ;) Thank you Trish and the Noi team! I did a lot of research before I decided what salon to go to. I found Noi salon online and found out it was an English speaking Salon. I read all reviews and they were pretty good so I had a high expectative of the place. I had to cut my hair short because it was really damaged and I was afraid they would spoil that.. Federico suggested me some haircuts and hair color and it was BEAUTIFUL!! It is the first time that I walk out a hair salon with a smile on my face! Federico is AWSOME!! And he knows what kind of haircut will look good on you! I would definitely go there again! Price is not that high considering he is such a professional and the place is so nice. I've never been the person to write reviews but I felt like this salon deserves one. While in Rome for a short vacation, I felt like doing something different to my hair. With a bit of searching and luck I came across this salon, and am very glad that I did. The staff were all friendly and spoke English which was a plus. In after thought it would have been incredibly difficult to explain "Aubrey but not dip dye" to an Italian without speaking any Italian. My hairdresser was Rick, and he was probably one of the most entertaining people I've met. Very fun, sassy and incredibly good at what he does. He immediately understood what I had in mind and suggested how to cut it to create more movement in my hair. Overall I was very satisfied, a bit pricey but still worth it. read more

Elegant ambiance, great espresso, delightful stylist! In search of a stylist familiar with the delicate nature of Black hair, a friend and I took the train to Rome based on reviews and a You Tube clip. I am so glad we did! Frederico is masterful, charismatic, and listens to your desired outcome. Using techniques that confirmed his understanding of our hair, I watched and became confident quickly that we made the right choice trusting Noi with our hair. Frederico gave me highlights, straightened, and cut a fabulous style that I absolutely LOVE! Under the crystal chandeliers, we laughed, solved world problems, and built a rapport. A few months ago I dropped by Noi Salon. It's very easy to reach, right next to the metro stop Flaminio, at piazza del Popolo. I was about to get married and wanted a total different look but I was not sure what to choose. Federico was very helpful. I picked a picture on a magazine which happened to be in their salon and decided to have a new hair colour. It turned out Federico did exactly the same colour as the model on the magazine. Federico is very professional, puts you at ease, he is very patient and has a great english. I have changed so many hairdressers so far, but Federico is the best. I have been to Noi twice during my 5 months in rome. I am very grateful for what Federico did with my hair - it was previously in a mess - I have very thick hair that looked like a helmet. He suggested that I thin it out and give side bangs a try. I have had a thick fringe that went straight across my forehead all my life but I trusted him and I am very happy with the results. He added some highlights and added some soft layers that made me feel more dynamic and spunky. It's such a pity that I will be leaving Rome soon, and that I will probably not be coming back soon for Federico to cut and style my hair. I will miss Noi salon quite a lot. read more

I had the pleasure of returning to this exquisite salon today. Found the salon on the web last year. Frederico is a very talented stylist and approaches the haircut experience completely different then the ordinary approach to haircuts in the States (unless one has their hair styled in a Manhattan salon). Noi was renovated over the winter and is now more beautiful then ever. Lovely small garden off the shop adds a very tranquil feel to the salon. This salon is hidden away off the Piazza del Popolo. I was in Rome for a friend's wedding and I went out last minute to try to find a salon for a quick wash/blow dry. Noi was, not surprisingly, quite busy and I didn't have an appointment. However, everyone was so nice and accommodating and the stylist Federico took the time while his other client was having her colour set to make my hair beautiful. Am just back from cut and style with Rick. After extensive web search decided to go to Noi as was fed up with undisciplined italian salons. Rick was fantastic, he immediately suggested a way to solve my tangling problem, worked very fast and created a beautiful elegant layered shape for my long hair. I normally am very distrustful of hairdressers, but he was superb and the style made heads turn when I went out. Will definitely go there again before heading back to uk. read more

Noi is the most mellow and professional salon I've ever been to. Its pricing is fair and it's clear that everyone who works there wants to make people happy.
