The store is clean, spacious, and absolutely in the middle of nowhere. They serve a variety of nationally procured Amish produced foods, and some locally baked items as well. They have a number of raw ingredient products at very cheap prices; variety of oats and other grains, sugar, as well as a large selection of confection ingredients and spices. H & R also serves sandwiches throughout the day. They have a deli service and sell Troyer brand meats and cheeses which are rich and tasty. The store is closed on Sundays and Thursdays. Please drive with extreme caution since the Amish still use horses as their primary means of transportation in this area.

Picked up a couple sandwiches to share, the Italian Stallion and Casey's Club. The menu pic can show you the ingredients. They were both delicious! The Stallion has an Italian dressing drizzle that just tops it off perfectly. The 6 inch size is perfect for one person or find a friend to get a different one to go halvsies with. They have an amazing looking meat/butcher case, as well as a nice sized store for your other grocery needs. They also have a vegetable/fruit fridge area and a fridge full of gluten free options. That's awesome! As for the service, they couldn't have been friendlier. The small fine-in area is great if you want to enjoy your food before heading back out to wherever you are headed. The store is super-clean and well organized to find whatever you need. I am so happy to add this place and wished we lived closer. I also picked up some of their store-made hot dogs to try later. I have purchased Bible related cards and motivational calendars there. Lots of kitchen- and health-related items are available that are useful.
