Last week, I had my vehicle detailed by Nomad Wash & Detail. When I picked up my vehicle, I immediately noticed that it still had water spots and the lovebugs had not been removed, despite being assured beforehand that these issues would be addressed. After paying $238.99 on the detail service, I was told that if I brought the vehicle back, they could buff it out. I'm not sure why this wasn't done during the original service. Based on their recommendation, I scheduled a buffing appointment for Sunday, June 14th at 11:00 AM and agreed to pay an additional $140. I made this appointment a full week in advance. However, at 10:30 AM on the day of my appointment just 30 minutes as l was driving to my scheduled appointment, I received a text message asking me to reschedule. I expressed that it was unprofessional to cancel an appointment with such short notice, especially via text message rather than a phone call. A customer who schedules a week in advance deserves more consideration and respect. What disappointed me most was the lack of customer loyalty and customer service. It appeared that my appointment was canceled because another customer was spending more money for his service. Whether that was the case or not, that is certainly how it felt. Businesses should never cancel an existing customer's appointment to accommodate a more profitable one. I had already recommended this business to my brother and sister-in-law, who were considering having their vehicles detailed with them. After my experience, we will be taking our business elsewhere. Customer relationships should be built on integrity, professionalism, and loyalty not on prioritizing whichever customer generates the highest dollar amount. Unfortunately, this experience has left me feeling undervalued as a customer, and I cannot recommend Nomad Detail's business based on the customer service, or should l say lack of customer service and loyalty they did not provide. read more

own a 1970 Plymouth Cuda -- a $70,000 show car I've poured my soul into. It's not a daily driver. It only goes to shows, and when it does, it usually brings home a trophy. I've even replaced fenders and the hood to keep the body flawless. I blow the dust off with a blower. I don't even wash it with water. That's how meticulous I am. So when I noticed two tiny hairline scratches in the roofline that had been bothering me for years, I didn't take it lightly. My son had used this company on his '70 Charger and recommended them after they cleaned up some minor overspray and swirls on his car. His turned out nice. That gave me enough confidence to trust them with mine. I drove the car three-eighths of a mile to my son's nearby shop, just to keep it out of the weather. I paid $700 for paint correction and an upcharge for ceramic coating -- all in the hopes of removing those two scratches and any remaining micro-swirls. But my focus was always the roofline scratches. What I got instead was disappointing on every level. When I picked up my car, I immediately noticed compound residue everywhere -- on the cowl, the louvers, the windows, every crevice. Even inside the interior, because they left the windows down during machine buffing. That alone tells you something about their attention to detail. Worse? The two scratches were still there. The ones I hired them to correct in the first place. And more than that -- my brand-new fenders and hood were now covered in swirls that absolutely weren't there before. Anyone who knows show cars knows the difference. I would've pointed them out during the inspection if they were there beforehand. Their website says they do paint correction unless the damage is deeper than the clearcoat. So if these scratches were "already there," as they later claimed, why didn't their best technician mention that during our pre-service walkthrough? Why didn't he say, "Sir, I can't fix this," or "I can correct these areas too"? That never happened. And there's a reason -- because the swirls weren't there. The car was damn near flawless, aside from the two hairline marks. Now let's break it down: Scenario A: They didn't cause the swirls and scratches. But that means they completely failed to perform the paint correction I paid them for -- the scratches are still there, nothing improved. Scenario B: They did cause the new swirls -- and left my car looking worse than when it arrived. Either way? It's a complete failure. But the worst part wasn't even the result. It was the way they handled it. I reached out to the owner, asking him to come down and inspect the car in person -- like any real business owner would. Instead, he sent his tech to call me and offer to "go over it again." What, exactly, was going to be different the second time? He already sent his "best tech" the first time. Was I supposed to expect better results from the same process that failed the first time? Then the phone call turned into a gaslight session. They told me the scratches and swirls were already there. That I was basically wrong. At one point, The owner even made me feel like I was being accused of lying. I dropped a few F-bombs -- sure. But what I really wanted was accountability. Respect. An honest conversation. What I got instead was excuses, finger-pointing, and a refusal to even look at the car again in person. Here's the truth: I'm not mad about the $700. I'll survive this. I'll fix it myself, or have someone else do it right. What I'm mad about is the principle. The way owner handled it. I'm a business owner myself -- 23 years, a dozen employees. I've made mistakes, but I've always shown up, owned up, and made things right. That's how you earn respect and build a reputation. This company had a chance to do the right thing, but instead, they ducked responsibility, talked down to a paying customer, and dismissed the condition of a car I know better than anyone. My son now feels terrible for recommending them. His car turned out fine. Mine didn't. And maybe that's what bothers me most -- if the owner saw what they did to mine, I believe he'd be embarrassed. But he chose not to look. That says everything. Bottom line: The service failed. The customer service failed. And the only thing more disappointing than the results was the way this business responded when things went wrong. Good luck with that business model read more

Would not recommend. Did a very poor detailing job. Did two cars and one car was dirty inside and out and the windows still had bird poo on it. Update Cliff on Tuesday around 430 I text you pics of my husband's car with dirt left behind . We never heard back. Today precisely 30 minutes after my review you called me asking we never rectified the situation. No not on my husband's car and I said I wanted you to talk to him directly and all you said sure if that's the way you want to handle it. So I my husband got on and started politely telling you his concerns and what I can tell you kept making excuses and for convertibles you don't put the top down. Well that's where a lot of dirt was and that was never explained to him. He was home all day working. You said you couldn't see the bird poop on the windows well the pics clearly showed it. You said that the paint on the car was the issue. No it was soap residue left behind. My husband said goodbye and hung up cause no matter what he said you had an excuse. Never acknowledge that the job wasn't done correctly Dirt and finger prints in the interior were left in both cars. Never was a walk thru offered. Like we both repeatedly told you it started raining after Anthony said he was done and my husband pulled both cars in the garage. Since my car had the most issues with the exterior having paint splashed on it I went out to the garage and found tons of paint on the car so I sent you pics and Anthony did return an hour later. I put the car back in the driveway waiting for him and then he knocked on the door saying he was all done. I was shocked I didn't even know he was here. I looked and the paint was now gone. But yet again no walk thru for the interior of my car. Not the first time ( could be cause it started raining) or the second time. No one refused a walk thru because we were never asked!My question to you how do you detail two cars in less than 3.5 hours? You got to know that it was not done correctly. You said my car would take half a day alone and when we added my husband's car you said it would be an entire day. You now offer someone else to come out but we are declining that since my husband went out after your call and cleaned his car by himself. Unfortunately he doesn't want to deal with your company since you were not very cooperative on today's call. My mistake was I didn't take your other poor reviews too seriously cause there are folks out there that do reviews like it's their job. I understand that reviews can harm businesses so that I waited 5 days to see if you would respond and you didn't until I wrote the review. You mentioned my poor review to my husband. Took my truck here to be buffed and polished. They quoted me a fair price but did not complete the work as I was told. They quoted me for 5 hours of work to detail the exterior including buffing, but finished in 2. Obviously they do very poor work as there's no possible way to do a thorough job and finish that quickly. They told me they had buffed the entire truck. But when I got there, there were still dirt spots on the truck EVERYWHERE! You would think a detail company would be detail oriented but these folks are not. The truck was not completed when they called and said it was done. I had to physically point out spots they missed! Do not come here! They half ass their work and expect you to pay full price. Nomad is awesome. We had hired someone else who never showed up at our house or called. Nomad's service is awesome and communication is great. Because of the rain, RJ came to our house, left his car and took our car about a half hour away to be totally cleaned and detailed. RJ then contacted me and said he was on his way to return my car. The car looks fantastic inside and out. I will definitely use them for my other car. BTW I could not believe there was no extra charge to pick up and drop off my car. I paid 200 for a car detail last Saturday and I am not happy with the results. So many items were overlooked! I could have done a better job and I'm 79. My windshield was not cleaned. Terrible service. Thank goodness we only had 1 of 3 cars done. The guy was late & SO slow. He kept saying he likes to take his time. Then it is dark & he said he would come back the next day to finishv& do car 2. I gave check for 1/2 since not done. Owner calls & wants all & threatened me with a lien. I wrote on check Job Not Complete & that he threatened me..Next day owner showed up & tried to charge $50 per hr while I was at work. I called Manatee Cty Sheriff. The owner & new worker did not finish the job. He came in our yard & lanai & upset my 88 yo father. The owner used the most vile words & vulgar language because I would not pay more than what was quoted. Owner is a nasty guy & should not be in business. Specifically asked if they were able to remove butter from my car seats and they said they were certain they could get it out and if not they would come back. I paid for a full interior shampoo deep clean etc. My car was clean other than the butter to begin with but I definitely expected them to clean the rest of the car. They were done pretty quick and most of my car wasnt even wiped down. They didnt use anything special on the butter and it was still there when it dried. So i called them back and they came back and recleaned the butter in the seat. He seemed irritated and in a hurry. He basically said that he wouldnt come back and that was all he could do. The butter is still stained in my seat. Pretty disappointed in their first cleaning and their unwillingness to finish what was paid for. There is no change in the butter stain on the seat. Oh. I know they didnt wipe my dash the first time because there was a butter drip there as well that was still there after the first time they "cleaned" my car. read more

The guys spent close to 2 hrs on my car. Car looks and smells great. They bring all their own supplies including water and electricity so it's literally full service wherever your car is. They did a thorough deep clean and refresh of all surfaces. I was disappointed in the wax -- it was a thin spray wax, not a thicker hand wax, for $175. If you want a good hand wax you should take your car to a reputable local car wash business, drop off the car, and pick up later, for less cost. With Pro-Tip you're basically paying for the convenience of them coming to your house. I'm glad I did it because I could never do as good a job cleaning and refreshing the car inside and out, but I think next time I'll hand wax my car myself. read more
