Dmitry and his team were great, and very professional. They created an atmosphere that truly made our wedding great, and this is coming from the groom! The music was great, but it wasn't just the music, Dmitry was also a consummate professional. He interfaced with the winery where we got married, set up the microphones, and even arranged for a harpist to play during the ceremony, something that neither my wife or I expected, but were extremely grateful for once he told us. My wife and I shopped around for wedding bands, and once we found Dmitry and his band, it became clear that we didn't need to look any further. I would love to see him at a Bar Mitzvah! I just realized I haven't reviewed Dima Greenberg and his band after they made my wedding on 11/20/2011 so incredible! My husband and I were just watching our wedding video and were sooo impressed all over again by Dima, his band, his incredible singers, his VOICE as well, his skills, their skills, the look of all of them on STAGE, it literally gave my wedding a "concert" feel! Having LIVE music is so different than playing a CD, especially in a big space, there's nothing better than hearing live drums, guitars, bass, etc. Dima's voice sounds like my favorite Russian singer Kirkorov - that's the reason I was so drawn to him. He sounds perfect in both English and Russian. He has Russian singers and American singers. I didn't notice all of that during the wedding, but in the video it's just incredible. The way the ladies sang "I will survive" and other famous hits, it was fabulous. The final reason I booked Dima was because I came to his house, I told him our first dance song is Aerosmith - I don't wanna miss a thing and I told him it's a difficult song to play and sing, what does he think? He sat at his keyboard, started playing the song and singing it, I MELTED, I was sold! He's incredible! He performed that song incredibly at the wedding. He also provided live jazz music during the cocktail hour AND he played live on his keyboard during my ceremony as well. Live music is certainly incomparable w/ anything else. I gave him a list of 30 songs for the reception that I loved and would love to hear most of them, he did perform a big chunk of them, however he said since we had a mix crowd of Russians and Americans, he was also going to judge the atmosphere and play whatever he would think would be most fitting at a certain time. The band can really make or break a wedding, so if you want to have the most amazing music at your wedding, look no further! : ) I have to say, Dmitry went above and beyond our expectations. He provided an 8 piece band with 4 singers who sang in multiple languages -- we had Latin music, Russian music, pop music, Jewish music, etc. (This was very important to me because it was a Jewish and part Russian wedding and I love Latin music.) They can pretty much do anything. I cannot believe that a band of this quality exists here in the Bay Area. They were so good that sometimes, I thought it was a CD of the artist playing. In addition to all this, he has his own lighting equipment that really makes everything look spectacular. He also took the time to think through the song selections and itinerary of events with us, and met with us on multiple occasions. He's just a great guy. And he is much more affordable than other bands/ artists we looked at who weren't half as good. I would re-book Dmitry for any event in a heartbeat! Thank you so much, Dmitry! Dmitry is an amazing guy!!! He knows how to put on a show and do it right!!! I have seen him play a number of times in different settings and it was always a huge hit!!! He doesn't just give you a show, he give you a show that you want. He listens to your requirements and creates a show you will remember for a long time. I've never heard of anyone not being satisfied with his service. When he is on stage at the Davies Symphony Hall, Russian Restaurant, or a private event he always gives out 110%.
