This Rembrantplein restaurant is part of the Wagamama chain, along with their other location near the Leidseplein, but must be new. As yet, they have no presence on yelp or TripAdvisor, or on this website:

The atmosphere is modern and trendy. The tables are benches which seat six, so you might be sharing when they are very crowded. The right side wall is an open kitchen, with four or 5 chefs behind the line. The bar is at the back. We ordered sake from the menu, of which there was only one type, and served hot (€6, small carafe).
The service was disorganized. The waiter warned us that dishes come out of the kitchen at random. My wife and I both got our entrées before our soup, and the the woman next to us ate half her meal before her friend got anything. We had to ask twice for our water and drinks, as did the people next to us.
The menu is Japanese, Korean, and Thai fusion. The food was delicious. I had the tom kha gai soup, and roasted duck donburi. The soup was spicier than I was expecting, but I ate all of it. The donburi was exellent, and I practically licked the bowl. One star off for the haphazard service, which I'm sure they can work the kinks out of. The food was great, though, and I would love to eat here again. read more
