About a week and a half ago, I visited Noor Threading to have my eyebrows waxed, threaded, and laminated. A few days later, I noticed my eyebrow hairs looked damaged: dry, brittle, and almost fried. Shortly after, I began losing a significant amount of eyebrow hair, especially along the top of my brows. Simply touching or brushing through them causes multiple hairs to fall out, far more than I have ever experienced before. I naturally have thick, full eyebrows, which is how I arrived. Now, my brows are noticeably thinner and patchy. Some remaining hairs developed an unnatural curl, causing them to stick out and not lay flat, and many of those hairs have since fallen out. To understand what happened, I visited another brow professional who specializes in brow laminations. I was told my brows had been overprocessed. I was informed that different areas of the brows process at different speeds, which is why technicians should check the brows throughout the process. If not properly monitored, the hairs can become damaged, dry out, curl, and fall out--resulting in patchy brows, which is what I am experiencing. During my appointment at Noor, my brows were not checked during processing. The plastic wrap was only removed once the timer went off before moving on to the next step. I followed all aftercare instructions provided, including keeping my brows dry for 24 hours. I was advised to leave my brows alone and allow them time to recover, as they are currently very dry, damaged, and shedding hair. I also experienced a chemical burn in the brow area following the service, although I do not have a photo. This experience has been extremely disappointing. This was my first time visiting a brow studio since moving and my first-ever brow lamination. I paid a significant amount for this service, only to be left with damaged, thinning brows and hair loss. I've been to Noors 3 times. Every single visit has been 5 stars . Service is amazing. My brows and lashes have never looked more amazing. I get my brows threaded and tinted. They look amazing every single time. 3 lash perm and tints and I have not been disappointed. The atmosphere is so calm. 1000% professional. I recommend Noors to everyone. I will admit that threading is more painful than waxing but it's done fairly quickly and the clean lines on my brows make it worth it 100%. Noors is top level in brow and lash care! read more

I requested my brows a specific way. She did not do them the way I wanted it to be done & even when I'd tell her i wanted them thinner, she kept insisting "it looks good." I did not like them! What's crazy is as I sat waiting for my turn, the same happened to the previous person. In response to their response: you just proved my point. If I'm requesting my eyebrows a specific way, it's what I should receive especially if I'm paying for it. I get my brows that specific way all the time. no other salon has ever in the last 20 years had a reason why they could not do my brows as requested. First and last time coming to this business. I had my eyebrows threaded by a trainee, and I only assume this because when she was done, she asked me to wait so that "Noor" can check them. First time I have ever experienced this, and I have gotten my eyebrows done for the past 13 years. So, "Noor" comes over, takes a look, and says something about one being thinner than the other, but to leave it alone because I can correct it with make up. (I DONT OWN ANY MAKE UP!) and she says, "they're perfect!" So unprofessional. Instead of walking out of there feeling confident, I felt ugly. Your eyebrows can make you or break you. Thanks a lot! I would give negative stars if possible. ATROCIOUS! Customer service is not party of their vocabulary. Charged $30 fee to pre book lashes (never heard of that and I've had lashes 10 yrs) and charges full price if YOU don't confirm day before. Apt was confirmed. Day of apt- Left my poor mother waiting 20 minutes before telling her the lash tech person was NOT EVEN SHOWING UP THAT DAY!!! Rebook and waste more time or forfeit the fee. THEY WERE AT FAULT! WTH No refunds No apologies Why and how are they in business??? Absolutely no regard for customers. All they had to do was apologize for inconvenience, return fee, and let her find a better place. The owner was incredibly rude and dismissive about the entire event. Don't bother wasting your time or money here. read more

I started going to Noors when they had another location. It was great because it was very close to where I live. unfortunately that location closed. I ended up following Noors location to her other business. I started going to Noors at least 4 or 5 years ago, maybe even longer. I introduced my mom and my aunt and we would all go together. I loved getting my eyebrows done by Noor or the other girl who is no longer there. Mary did my eyebrows the last time I went. she had just finished her training. my eyebrows were so thin after I got them done. I know everyone needs to learn by doing it. I'm alright with that. My eyebrows are very light and I was happy when Noor did them. Recently I called to make an appointment with Noor the lady that's been doing them for years. I wasn't treated very nice when I called and a man answered. I tried to make an appointment with Noor who has been doing my eyebrows for years. He made it difficult to get an appointment with Noor. I sent him a text explaining that Mary was very nice but I wanted Noor to do them. I never did get an answer. it's just at times when you find a service you like, you want that same person. It was nothing personal but the same goes for a hairdresser. When I find some one that does my hair how I like it, I would like that person to keep doing my hair. I moved here in May and came to the only threading salon in St. George. was not happy that the threader was blowing air onto my face to get the hair out of my way, without a mask of course. We are still very much in a pandemic and people are getting sick left to right in the St George community. Also, she did not do a good job with shaping my eyebrows at all .. I am not picky when it comes to the way i have had my eyebrows done but she really made a wave in my eyebrow which cant go unnoticed. I went in to have my lashes and eyebrows tinted. There seemed to be a language misunderstanding because I was having my browse flossed before I could say stop. At this point I figured it was too late and it wouldn't hurt to have them done. Unfortunately, after telling me how nice my brows were she got floss happy and took 2/3rds of my nice thick brows off. I went to Noor's second location on Red Cliffs Drive right next to the Panda Express. Noor is a pro at eyebrow threading and eyelash tinting. My eyes didn't even sting during the eyelash tint and they always have in the past at other places. Plus the price at $15 each was great. I really really wanted to like this place even more! First the good news---my eyebrows look great! She did a really nice job to make sure they looked their best. It was a very relaxing experience and I could hardly feel the pain. The bad news---the area above my eyebrows really broke out with lots of little pimples. The area below had little cuts that scabbed over from the threading. The owner was very sweet and suggested some ways to cut down on breakouts next time. Noor does an exceptional job. She is also the owner of the business, she cares about you as a person and client as well. She went out of her way to put me in her schedule even though it was my first time at the salon. Her threading skills are exceptional and she is THE BEST I seen so far.
