I didn't not have good services many complaints at my event. Bartender attempted to leave early. Had a 4 hour event and didn't stop to notify company during the event which was the response owner sent the next day when I sent my concerns. The bartender did not tell the truth about trying to leave. Offered to speak with the staff together along with witnesses and of course that was not addressed. Will not use services again read more

NorCal Event Specialists provided DJ and lighting services at my wedding and they were seriously the BEST! I first saw Ray (the owner) DJ at my friends wedding about 2 years ago, and my fiance and I knew we had to have him as our DJ at our wedding! He was actually the first vendor we booked for our wedding since we wouldn't have settled for anything less. NorCal Event Specialists were extremely professional, and met with myself and the venue manager to explain everything, and offer additional ideas. The lighting that they provided was truly out of this world. Our venue was fine to begin with, but the lighting enhanced the ambiance of the room beyond my wildest dreams. Our guests were in awe of how beautiful our venue looked. I wanted to create a different wedding experience for my guests and NorCal Event Specialists made that happen. Of course the DJ services were also on point. The fact that the dance-floor was never empty was the main indication that Ray & his crew totally rocked the party! When planning our wedding, my husband and I were frustrated because we could not come across any DJs in the Bay Area that were both professional and talented. Our coordinator recommended NorCal Event Specialists (NCES), and we could not be more thankful! From our first correspondence, Ray was extremely professional and pleasant. He did a great job of explaining the company's strengths without being too aggressive. I wish that we had learned of NCES earlier, as they provide decor services as well! NCES handled the lighting and dj services for our sangeet, wedding ceremony, and reception. They were FANTASTIC! Their setup is so clean, so your event pictures will not be ruined by big, bulky speakers. More importantly, wires are not all over the place, so there isn't a hazard to guests. Ajit was the dj for our sangeet and wedding/reception, and he is FANTASTIC! He reads the crowd so well and has such a diverse selection of music! The lighting and sound for all our events was great! Most importantly, NCES was completely professional. They were always responsive, arrived on time, presented themselves professionally, and were overall a pleasure to work with. SAVE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY! And don't book this guy, he will tell you he can do anything you want from lights to decorate to even bartenders or servers, and he will ask for your budget and at the last min he will throw you a bill twice and more from your budget, at least that is what happen to us.. we asked him from the beginning to give us a breakdown of all we had requested he assured us that it was do able with our budget but at the end it was a totally different story, he gave us a bill breakdown that was over twice of our budget!! Not only that he is very irresponsible, we would message him and he would ignore us or message us days later. He also had a habit of rescheduling our appointments with him. He never mention nor did we ever sign anything saying our deposit was non refundable and when we had told him the first time we wanted our deposit back he was willing to give it back to us, but we gave him a second chance and by the second time we where given the bill of way over our budget, that was our last straw with him he was abusing us and not giving us what he said he would like the first time we met. "Oh yeah we can do that" "yeah we can work with your budget no problem". I am now looking into filling a civil suit against him so he give us our FULL deposit back, I really hope he fixes these issues he has with his business or not do business at all because taking advantage of people like this is unprofessional and ridiculous! After I had messaged him that I wanted to talked to him about our refund he started to ignore our phone calls along with our text messages and emails. Don't become another one of his victims and go with Someone who actually has years of experience and knows what they are doing! And for the good reviews that this guy had previously WOW must be some friends or family members that made up some few nice words to make him look good, these people have obviously not worked with him. read more
