For the size of the store, it is really remarkable how much variety they have crammed in, and the absolutely amazing staff don't hesitate to help you figure out a solution to any problem. I can't tell you the number of times I have walked in with a poorly explained question, or half of a broken piece of something, and they've immediately identified what I needed, showed me where to find it, and explained to me the best way to fix something. For your average 90's kid who is maybe not the best a home repairs, Quality Hardware is constantly the lifesaver I need them to be on small home repairs! For bonus points, you can't forget how wonderful the fresh popped popcorn is. It really lightens up a frustrating unplanned repair to get a bag of delicious, fresh popcorn for less than 50 cents!

There were several dozen to choose from, and it was almost impossible to tell what would link together. I selected the coupling and hose I believed would work for me, and instead of making me buy it and go through a return process, they let me take it all out of the packaging and hook the heater (i had it in my car) to one of their store propane tanks to ensure it would all fit. It did, and then we conducted the transaction. This was just before a major winter storm. They were very patient with everyone who called, came in, and people like me learning on the fly, even though they were just inundated with calls and people. They do offer propane tank fill-ups here, and things like mulch, pine straw, hay, firewood, on a seasonal basis.

Lowe's didn't have them, Home Depot didn't have them, and neither did the hardware store in THOMASVILLE or Southside in High Point. Williams in Sophia had one, but I needed two. Amazon sent me one but it can with the wrong bore. Not only did Hillville have FOUR of them in stock but they were 1/4 of the price I paid on Amazon. I feel a little bad that they aren't higher on my list but living in the north end of High Point just doesn't put them top of mind. Neat place that reminds me of my father-in-law's old country hardware store back in Ohio.

Like any of these big box hardware store, you can find just about anything you need for DIY home projects, from landscaping, to plumbing, painting, electrical and more. But to keep prices, low, just beware, quality is absolutely reduced in some items, especially faucets for example. On a recent visit, while buying large sheets of plywood, I was at least able to find someone on the floor, willing to assist me in cutting the material on the panel saw, so I could fit them in my car. However, finding help in this store can be hit or miss, just depending on which department you are in. All in all, it's a decent store, to get what you need, but just beware of quality, and don't go in always expecting to find employees to help you.
