We throw our hands up! The pork schnitzel was very good, nice and crispy, and we enjoyed the peas on the side, but why was the horseradish like a tangle of shredded noodles on top? Confusing! The moules frites our daughter ordered was massive, so that ended up being a waste of money because only a third of them got eaten. The accompanying fries had a tangy seasoning on them that we all loved. One of us also got the stjerneskud, a kind of smørrebrød, because it had to be done once. Imagine a massive piece of bread covered in a bernaise kind of sauce and now it's topped with smoked salmon, a thousand tiny shrimp, a grilled AND steamed plaice (a kind of whitefish). The thing was insane, hence the aforementioned overordering. Service is nice enough. The bill was sky high, which is our main reservation about this place, but it's our own fault at the end of the day for letting our eyes be bigger than our stomachs. We wouldn't necessarily recommend Mefisto at the end of day because we didn't Capital L Love it, but you can certainly have a nice meal here. 3.5 stars rounding up.

My husband had a glass of white wine with his meal, and I ordered some juice. I was a bit surprised when my juice came in in a huge pitcher (which, I believe, costs more than a glass).
