The space was very clean and well maintained, and the equipment clearly new or at least modern. A nice private restroom is inside for paying customers, and it's conveniently located next to some restaurants to eat at while you wait. Having said that, there was room for improvement. The largest machines were in high demand but there was only 5. The smaller load machines took up half of the back of the laundromat but were all unused. The seating was not comfortable and there was no other forms of entertainment, leaving people to awkwardly sit and stare. (This is why my friend and I decided to grab a quick meal.) For a new customer, there's some signage about how to use the machines but it wasn't completely clear. I ended up having to call the customer service number to get clarify. (You have to create laundromat cards, and there's no other option.) They have a vending machine with very small quantities of laundry supplies which felt a bit overpriced, and the machine only accepted 2 kinds of bills (and there was no way to break change inside the laundromat, you had to go bother a restaurant or shop next door which I felt was inappropriate.) Having said that, my laundry and bedding came out very clean despite winging it and I was satisfied, although I left paying about $40 to get it all done (which, again, felt high.) I'll probably explore other laundromats in the area to see if they better meet my needs, but this is not a bad option to try

For example, when I first went there, I'd never been to a laundromat before and was quite nervous so I had some rather obvious and silly-sounding questions, like how to exchange bills for quarters, but the gentle woman behind the counter patiently answered my questions and made me feel welcome. As well, I've only ever seen her and other people who work there treat their customers fairly and courteously. I'm grateful for the people at Richard's Laundromat.

I did one load there where I even mixed darks and lights because one I was pressed for time (couldn't wait for another load) and two I was pressed with the price. So the following weekend I went online and found a few options. Some with lots of machines, a little further, some with a coffee shop inside, but this one caught my attention so I decided to give it a try. The place was very clean and well kept. Smelled very good. There was a very nice lady there working that seemed to know everyone that came in. You can tell there is definitely a local vibe in this place. The clientele was very friendly. The machines start at $2.50 to wash and $0.25 to dry for every 7 minutes. Can't beat that ! So I was able to separate my cloths this time, do 2 loads and be in and out in less then 1h30m. There is parking in the front. People can double park behind you if they need to quickly run inside. And there is additional parking in the back. The only thing I would add as a service to the customers is Wi-fi. Not a deal breaker but it would be nice to be able to sit in the car and wait while watching some movies on Netflix thru your laptop.

I was extremely surprised when I came in Leat (like leah but with a T) the owner showed us how to use the washer and dryers both of which were inexpensive. $4.75 for the large machine and $3.75 for the small ones wash and .25¢ for every 7 minutes to dry. I got cheese cake and orange juice both of which were delicious! Leat also has a drop off service, it is $1 for every pound of laundry. I'm pretty famous for packing far more than necessary when traveling. In fact, even when going places with women I can't recall ever having a smaller suitcase than they did. Because of this I was able to go five days in Cancun and a week in Vegas before running out of a few necessities. But when I was finally ready to do some laundry for the next week of the trip the pile was quite large, and unfortunately there was no reliable cleaning facility on site where I was staying. I've got to say, Ultra Stop is phenomenal.... All of the machines are shiny and new, and the rates were quite reasonable...they'll even do your laundry and fold it for you if you drop it off and pay an extra fee (by the pound).
