The people who run and work at Richard's Laundromat have been nothing but very kind and very helpful to me. For example, when I first went there, I'd never been to a laundromat before and was quite nervous so I had some rather obvious and silly-sounding questions, like how to exchange bills for quarters, but the gentle woman behind the counter patiently answered my questions and made me feel welcome. My hotel in Mt Laurel New Jersey had one washer and one dryer. Not only that the price to wash was $4.00 and so was the price to dry. I did one load there where I even mixed darks and lights because one I was pressed for time (couldn't wait for another load) and two I was pressed with the price. So the following weekend I went online and found a few options. Some with lots of machines, a little further, some with a coffee shop inside, but this one caught my attention so I decided to give it a try. The place was very clean and well kept. Smelled very good. There was a very nice lady there working that seemed to know everyone that came in. You can tell there is definitely a local vibe in this place. The clientele was very friendly. The machines start at $2.50 to wash and $0.25 to dry for every 7 minutes. Can't beat that ! So I was able to separate my cloths this time, do 2 loads and be in and out in less then 1h30m. There is parking in the front. People can double park behind you if they need to quickly run inside. And there is additional parking in the back. The only thing I would add as a service to the customers is Wi-fi. Not a deal breaker but it would be nice to be able to sit in the car and wait while watching some movies on Netflix thru your laptop. read more

Tina doesn't take any mess and she's funny. This laundromat is not IN Camden. It's on Camden Ave in Moorestown, check your geography. Any way Tina is always helpful and we joke about being lazy when I bring enormous amounts of laundry because I'm busy working. They have a small but tidy clean area. The big washers and dryers are worth it for comforters or just washing a ton at one time. Some people can't take directness but I'm perfectly fine with it this laundromat is the best one in the area. read more

Had to bring a large, heavy sleeping bag in because it wouldn't fit in my front-loader at home. This place is small but tidy. The attendant actually pointed me toward a smaller washer than the one I was starting with, and she was right--the bag fit fine. That saved me a few dollars. It's a hot day out but there are fans going and I think the AC was running, which kept it comfortable. There is nowhere specific to sit but there are folding chairs you can slide out and use. Tina does a terrific job of providing service washes to her customers. I've been using this service for the past 8 years and they are always friendly and professional. Prices are reasonable, quality is excellent. If you are looking for a laundromat somewhere between Cherry Hill, Maple Shade and Moorestown, this is the place. read more

Thena takes a lot of care in this place. I use to go there and do my laundry, now I pay her to do it, the best most honest person I ever met in the business world. First things first, it is at camden. So don't bring valuables in an unlocked car. Better safe than sorry. In such a scathy neighbourhood (it is the only open one matching with my working hours) I was expecting at least a helpful person. That Chinese lady behind the counter, greeted me with a horrible face like I killed her entire family, stare at me weirdest she can, till I ask where can I change my money. Then she bitched about it, saying that I already came late and asking her to change my money. She kicked me out by saying, too late too late no change, with of course that Chinese accent. It was a horrible experience, I don't recommend anybody to at least ask for help, or deal with that crazy Chinese lady. If you are OK with neighbourhood, bring the exact change, don't take any attention, and again don't ask any help, you will be fine. It should be the last place you should be looking for. If you are curious about working hours, they will treat you shit if you come after 7.30pm, they are closing at 9, but they don't accept customers with a rude manner after 7.30 read more

This is the best place I've been to in a long time, the little lady, cane to know as Tina is the best , her personality is as she is short no non sense but very sweet as you get to know her as I have going here for over 6years.. I've seen some real characters cone through the doors washing clothes here and she stood up to the he challenge she comes off a little rough but when you come for a while you're going to see the sweetest lady that will go the extra mile for you, from helping you use the machine to saving you money , I've seen her help with people's clothes in showing them how much detergent and walking the rates clothes they had , never would go anywhere else then Richard's the people are nice and the place is clean, just stop by ask Tina to help you with doing your clothes and she will go the extra mile for you, these other Bozo's writing things about her are all the trouble makers, yes in a. Went to this location yesterday, a little old Chinese lady was working behind the counter. I asked for 5.00 worth of change and she had this nasty look on face when hanging me a roll of change. She didn't greet me or anything but instead of a nasty attitude. Furthermore, when I was drying my stuff, she came to me and started to yell at me because the items made a mess inside the dryers. She said , she doesn't want to clean it and that I will not do it again. I was shocked by her approach and didn't really say much but continue to allow my items to dry in the dryer. Finally, when my items were dry, she ran over and check the dryers and again started to run her month on how I made a mess for her to clean. I proceeded to walk out with my stuff, where I turned my back away from her, it was when she grabbed me in attempt to get my attention because I was ingorning her yellings. At this time, I was angry because she physically placed her hand on me and I didn't appreciate it. I told her that if she ever touch me again, I will call the police. And continued to walk out of business. Needless to say, she said something in Chinese where I believe it was profanity. I have never been embarrassed to this degree before.
