Upon entrance you see the will-call window. Enter through the red door to the left. There were a few tables with chairs in the middle, art for sale on the wall. And then double doors to the left to the theater and bathrooms to the right. All the way at the back had a small area selling drinks and snacks. They're advertised as a local theater, but the caliber of the talent was phenomenal. The actors transported us back in time to tell this beautiful and sad story. CST has a great reception area with art on display and they sell drinks including cocktails, and snacks. The theatre scene is alive and well in Oklahoma. The outdoor sculptures caught our eye, but I wondered where the Jimenez mustang was only to find it installed in a gallery inside. First on my list was the Frankoma exhibit. Wonderful. I learned about the few pieces I have. Then the exhibit of the art of the Southwest and the Weitzenhoffer Collection displayed in recreations of their rooms. Well done university museum.

Worth noting: from the photographs, the art museum is getting reviews on this page for the natural history museum which is a few blocks away. It, however, is also fantastic and needs to better promote that it has the largest dinosaur fossil on exhibit in the United States. Bottom line: both museums are exceptional. Staff are fantastic. If I only had time to visit one, it would be the art museum but that is only due to personal preference. If you have time, stop in on both.

The specialize in using classic literature and adapt them into a play format. They have been around about 7 years and try and use local talent through educational opportunities and workshops. Was kind of disappointed as the afternoon show was only attended by 25 or so people. The Friday and Saturday night shows may have had a larger attendance.
