I would not recommend to her. if she comes not like you. no matter how much money you make she will deny you based off her personal issues. Agents beware, I encouraged a friend/client to use their service after working with a for sale by…read moreowner and had dealt with this local lender before, who recommended her and B.J. one of the brokers there coached the client into possibly not using an agent advised the client 3% was to much for an agent commission which is the norm and also asked the client why she had an agent. (prior to finding this property we had looked at others that were not for sale by owner.) I did not request a certain commission from the builder/owner due to the fact it was a friend I'm even the one that suggested the house to her because I knew what she was looking for. I knew going into this commission was never a issue because I was going to help her anyway, but for the lender to down play a agents position is unacceptable as if she doesn't get commission for closing loans as well.

Anyway, I have rented from Leonard realty for the past 2 years (in Harris county) and I really don't have any complaints! The office manager is kind and helpful, and always is a pleasure to talk to. Whenever we had an issue she was our main point of contact and always helped when she could. The rental itself was "as is" when we moved in, so there's a ton of work and repairs that are still needing to be done. However, if you've ever tried to find a rental in HC you know how hard it is to find one, so we went ahead and rented it. We ended up doing some minor updates/repairs ourselves just for livability purposes (replaced broken sink faucet, fixed a few broken cabinets / holes, and also replaced a few door handles). We did have an issue with the AC which is a 1970's model. There's a leak in the roof in the dining room, the microwave handle is broken, along with the glass for the microwave, there's a ton of misc. debris outback from the owners, the bathroom floor is coming up around the tub and the toilet, no screens on any windows, etc. I wanted to post this review prior to our move out because I worry that we will be blamed for the damage/problems because we accepted it "as is" and the realtor that we went through no longer works there. If we end up getting our deposit returned to us, I will update my rating and review to include this and vice versa. Overall, it was difficult at times to get someone to come and make repairs because it's their only rental in the county (the rest are in columbus) but as I said they did the best they could. I have also met the owner of the property and she is a sweet lady!

Our roof was original to the house and thus 25 years old. It was time to replace it, and after we…read morerequested bids from three vendors we decided on Renfroe Roofing. Our point man was Shane Renfroe, and through the process he kept in contact with us. Their bid was refreshingly within our budget, and we chose the Rustic Hickory architectural shingles. The crew arrived early in the morning, laying tarps and getting items prepped. Our 7am wakeup was when they started removal of the old roof shingles and felt. Through the day they were active and engaged. The crew worked quickly, and were very professional and polite in our interactions. By 4:30 they were in the final stages of cleanup, and by 5 they were done. There were several passes with various magnetic devices in the final cleanup to try to catch as many of the nails and other metallic debris that had fallen during the activity. After they left I made a cursory round of the house and found only 2 nails. The next day my wife spotted a place in our guest room ceiling where the drywall/finish had cracked a bit. We asked Shane to send someone over to take a look at that and a few places where we had spotted gutter guards that had been pushed out of alignment. They arrived within a couple of days, and they after a thorough inspection of the area and the roof above was able to determine that there were no structural issues nor probable leak issues, and that it was just a thin roof/ceiling structure and some incidental movement with people moving around with bags of shingles. They straightened the gutter guards back in place and ran another set of magnet nail catchers around the house a few times just in case. Through the whole process, Renfroe Roofing provided good communication, timely work, and quality workmanship throughout the process. Beyond a few plastic "tags" blown about by the wind they did an excellent job of cleaning the area, and we are very happy with our new roof.

Out of the 7 appointments, only 4 companies had representatives who even showed up (Two estimators never showed, and the last one I cancelled after I made a deal with RevitaRoof.) I went with RevitaRoof for many reasons. Thomas from RevitaRoof was the one fo the only reps who showed up on time! The rep was completely professional through the whole process. I never felt pressured and I learned about the different kinds of roofing available that, so far, no one else had taken the time to show me.
