So I'm sorry for the one star north 40, and also don't want to hear the excuses anymore from anyone of your so called managers and corporate personnel. I have shopped in all the north 40 stores u have all in Montana and Washington and Idaho. I have never been so humiliated, felt like garbage or even spoken too by anyone like I have in your Havre store. All in all I like your manager Justin and manager Gary. But the two women you have are not the brightest don't care about how one individual speaks or treats customers and staff members when I was in the store. I'm sitting in your parking lot with my wife and kids trying to calm down, but this women you have in hardware, her name was Missy basically said I was a f in bitching idiot who doesn't know what he needs in the farming isle said I should f in come in if I don't know what I need, when I did. She also used other swear words in front of my wife and two young kids. She was yelling at a staff member who i went and found name Justin. Missy told him to get the hell out of her farm isle. Justin stood his ground tell he found what I needed. I have had numerous run in with this individuals foul mouth and degrading attitude. I have went to both your women managers and they just said well will talk to her. No more north 40 I have always loved your store and do not ever complain I have always said that the person might have problems say thank you and go to another part of the store. NO NOT THIS TIME. Missy needs to go she isn't a person who should be in your store representing it with her foul mouth, bad attitude and sorry she dresses like a bum and she is very dirty and doesn't smell so great. If you want people to keep shopping at your store keep A swell guy like Justin and get rid of the bad egg Missy. If not I will not nor any of my family will go back to anyone of your stores. One star is all this company deserves and will ever deserve with a individual you have in the farming department name Missy. She's arrogant,rude, doesn't know crap about farming or ranching or machinery. When asked a question she ask what's that. Yells when u explain to her about it. Then her ego goes and her arrogance and she tells me I should go to torgersons for the shovels. Umm why you have had them before. She just got louder and ruder. I looked at her and asked to speak woth a manager and she said they where at lunch and where unavailable. Well I went and found someone who use to help the older gentlemen gene his name was Justin. He helped me and apologized.for missy. Missy was standing there and told me that this was here department and I shouldn't go find someone else to help when she said I told you to go to the other business. I again told her that I had found someone who could help me who knew what I wanted. As soon as I was done Justin asked if I needed anything else I said no but I want to make a phone call if he could give me corporate number and I will do reviews on help and north 40. He gave me number. Again apologized and went to help another. Before I left the aisle missy cursed at me and stomped off like a kid. I am so ashamed of this corporation and Havre management and the owners to let a women like her to work in such a store. But having Justin save a sale and making me feel comfortable again I will come back and have him help he knows how and what a farmer and rancher wants and needs and goes out of way if you don't have it. My husband and I came in for a repair on a weed eater and spoke to Justin in power equipment at the Havre MT store. He was polite and kind knew what he was doing he also explained everything he was doing and explained to me and my husband what was wrong and what he fixed. Then my husband and I asked about lawn mowers all the differences they have and the warranties and what is needed for them. My husband started talking to him about chainsaws for our next visit and he explained the different types you sold in Stihl and Husqvarna my husband was very amazed and looked at me afterwards and said " I have never met anyone who put so heart and soul into their department and the knowledge he had on all this it was great to have someone know the products as well as he does in a store." My husband and I had a great experience and will be back for another Stihl weed eater and for a Stihl chainsaw while knowing you have a knowledgeable man like Justin in this department. As long as Justin is in this department will recommend all our friends to north 40 power equipment Justin made us feel welcome and his knowledge made ius greatly happy we will be wanting to bring you the business and the sales from our ranching friends and there families as well as ours.. We hope he will be in this department for a long time and doesn't go anywhere he is what a North 40 Outfitters employee represents. My family came into the Havre store as soon as we got to the doors we went different directions since never been in store. My husband and I was looking for a new lawnmower, so we went to the back of your store in power equipment. There was a guy name Justin working. He was interested in how he could help us not like some who just do it to get a paycheck. Justin seemed ideally there to help the people who come in. Justin showed us three push mowers explained there goals and what is better then the other, he also showed us the Stihl mower. Then we asked to see riding mowers he didn't he same with a grin and all he showed us them all. We finally picked a riding mower then my husband decided on a weed eater, Justin shook both our hands and walked us upfront after getting everything ready. He spoke to us all the way to the counter and thanked us. This gentleman is a outstanding salesman but he has a wow to it. Your power equipment has a big asset yes not just the out side tools but the worker Justin. He makes this department so easy to approach and want to buy from. I hope to come back in and see him standing in power equipment next time cause he makes this Havre store and shows us that there is still good people in this world. So I'm giving this five star rating for one reason and one reason only. Whenever I come into your store every employee u have treats me like garbage except for one. This young man always has a grin and a hand shake for me. Justin has worked in many different areas and knows your store like he has been doing this his whole life. He answers questions very well as well he ask questions when he wants more information. I have bought many items in your Havre store and enjoy going into the store while Justin is there cause of his all together good attitude. I have also seen him with great customers and just down rude customers and he does the same with all of us he smiles and tries his damnest to help even being screamed at. Never seen someone to smile while getting treated like garbage but this young man can and I actually have stepped in to a angry person. They walked away and Justin said thank you have a great day. Having more people whose willing to go above and beyond is so much better then having ones who are loud mouths yelling and being abusive to other staff and customers. I'm a rancher from out of town and I came up to your Havre store looking for plumbing equipment and a pump. There was a older women in plumbing by the name of Missy. The women was yelling around basically screaming at staff and customers. When I approached her for help she looked at me and still raising her voice to where it hurt my ears and head said "sir I don't know nothing about pumps and the plumbing items are right here." "I have to go outside with someone so you will have to find someone else whose willing to help you." Wtf north 40 people who work there shouldn't allowed to treat customers with such disrespect. Is this how a customer is treated and made to feel like they don't need to return to your store? I got what I needed and left and found a few fitting for my water nozzle for watering calves. I just didn't want to stay after that. Then when walking out the door Missy was sitting in another employees car out front of your store talking garbage about staff and management smoking and also in her work attire vest. She saw me pointed at me to the other employee and started talking very loudly. People where looking at me and I just smiled. I do wish something will be done. read more

I went to look at your Stihl items I asked specifically for Justin cause he's always helped me and has been a great service to this department. There was a kid name Eddie in there and he said well this is my department now he doesn't work in here anymore and will not be here unless I'm gone. So I can help you cause he's not allowed too. I looked at him and asked questions on all the saws for Stihl your company has and he couldn't answer my questions then I went to the questions on weed eaters and again couldn't answer then I asked about lawn mowers he couldn't do it. I asked if Justin was available cause he knows all of this department and more and he can help me and will do it politely and truthfully and will respect me as a customer. Eddie again said I already told you no and I will not ask him to come in he's working a different department. Until your company brings Justin back to the power equipment department myself and a few other folks will not be back. You had a great man who knew his stuff and now you have a disrespectful, not knowing anything young man working in this department. Justin knows your store please bring him back to power equipment. I have been shopping at the Havre store when it was big r. I have staff I will only go to and yesterday I went and found the kindest and honest employee you have in this store and if he isn't available or he's off I will wait tell he is in the store. This man is Justin in hard ware, he has sold me tools, tack, power equipment and also helped in other dept. He explains items and which is best for what I need it for. All I know is that this man has it all the manners, great attitude to customers (I send my friends and family to only him) kindness and doesn't make you feel dumb. North 40 outfitters havre mt. Google review. Do not do business with North 40 Outfitters. Bought a brand new chainsaw Stihl 5 months ago because it was on sale. Used it for 15 minutes. Won't fire they took a look at it they can't do nothing about it. Have to get back to North Dakota had to finish a job in chinook. They're telling me that I have to wait for them to send it to Great Falls Montana I said that is not good enough exchange it they said no will never do business with this place again go to a better place that sells sells Stihl chainsaws in parts. read more
