Before coming in, I specifically…read moreasked MULTIPLE workers multiple times whether my mom needed to be present for me to receive my actual license. I made it very clear what I was coming in for because my mom was going to be out of town. Every single time, I was told that I did NOT need her there and that everything would be fine. So I show up with my grandma, after taking time out of our day and arranging transportation, only to suddenly be told the exact opposite. Apparently now I did need my mom there. What makes this even worse is the way the employees handled it. Instead of admitting they gave incorrect information, they talked down to me, acted annoyed, and basically tried to make me sound stupid for following the instructions THEY gave me in the first place. It honestly felt like they were trying to gaslight me into believing I misunderstood them when I had asked repeatedly to avoid this exact situation. The incompetence and lack of professionalism here is unreal. If the employees don't even know the requirements for something as basic as issuing a license, maybe they shouldn't be giving people information in the first place. Completely wasted my time and my family's time, and the rude attitude on top of it made the whole experience even worse.
